Module 8 Assignment 1

1. What social values can you get from the Propaganda movement that you can
apply in the present situation?
> After watching the video, I understood that Filipinos have always been
concerned about the Philippine government movement because they haven't
been able to voice their ideas about what's going on in their own neighborhoods
or society. Additionally, there is Bayanihan, or togetherness. Unity is always
important in addressing individual issues, and right now, especially in our country,
there are many obstacles and challenges. Using COVID-19 as an example of
divergent opinions, some of them engaged in conflict over their opposing point of
view. If this nation gives the concept of oneness some thought, the issue will be
resolved right away. Individual rights are crucial in all facets of life. As individuals,
we must be taken seriously; as such, our sentiments must be expressed and our
views must not be discounted. The need of education is also emphasized by the
propaganda movement. Many students have ceased studying in recent years due
to mental health issues, believing that education is irrelevant in securing their
own future.
2. If you were one of the members of Laliga Filipina, what will you choose between
KKK and Cuerpo De Compromisorios? Defend your answer.
> I decided to join the Cuerpo de Compromisarios because I believe that the
country needs peace more than it needs bloodshed. Despite the fact that these
two propaganda operations fight for freedom, Jose Rizal's Cuerpo de
Compromisarios likewise aims to unite the populace. The people are inspired to
combat all sorts of violence and injustice by Rizal's remarkable leadership. Rizal
demonstrates how bringing people together in a peaceful manner without the use
of violence or the loss of life can lead to freedom. Studying the background of La
Liga Filipina reveals that Rizal and Bonifacio gave their all in the struggle for
freedom. While they both had a deep devotion to their beliefs, Rizal's
contribution was to encourage unity over fear in society. Although Rizal passed
away, his beliefs and style of leadership encouraged many others to take up arms.
