MODULE 8 ASSIGNMENT 1

1) What social values can you get from the Propaganda Movement that you can
apply in the present situation?

- After seeing the video presentation, I came to the conclusion that Filipinos, who have
never been allowed to voice their opinions about what is going on in their own
neighborhoods or society, have always been concerned about the Philippine government
movement. Unity is always essential in resolving personal issues, and there are a lot of
obstacles and problems we are currently facing, especially in the country we live in.
Using COVID-19 as an example, many people are arguing about their opposing points of
view on social media, with some of them getting into fights over these areas of
disagreement. If our country gives the concept of unity some thought, the issue will be
resolved right away. Individual rights are vital in all facets of life. People like us need to
be heard, we can't keep our feelings to ourselves or ignore our ideas. We need to
express our feelings. The need for education is also emphasized by the propaganda
movement. Many students have ceased studying in recent years due to mental health
issues, believing that education is not vital for securing their own future.

2) If you were one of the members of La Liga Filipina, what will you choose between
KKK and Cuerpo de Compromisarios? Defend your answer

- I chose to join the Cuerpo de Compromisarios because I believe that the nation would
benefit more from peace than from violence. In addition to fighting for freedom, Jose
Rizal's Cuerpo de Compromisarios also aims to unite the populace. People are
motivated to combat injustice and violence in all of its forms by Rizal's exceptional
leadership. Rizal demonstrates that achieving freedom may be accomplished via
peacefully uniting people without resorting to bloodshed or taking lives.
