5: Construction Safety and Health – Group 6

The report about the Construction Safety and Health tackles the accidents, their
causes, and preventive measures to keep us safe in the workplace. From construction
sites to office spaces, there will always be a range of hazards in the workplace. While
listening to the report, aside from the memes, I realized that as a project engineer,
having a quality training program ensures an employer can better meet the training
needs of their employees as they go about their jobs. It helps to verify that workers can
do their work competently and safely by ensuring that they are qualified, suitably
trained, and have sufficient experience in what they are doing.

Implementing better occupational safety and health management in an industry

protects the employees and employers from harm, accidents, and illness. In particular to
the construction industry, provisions and maintenance for a safe and healthy workplace
result in a more effective way to minimize cost holdings in a construction business.
