DRAMA CONTEST
MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES:

1. All contestants should be bonafide youth members of the Seventh-Day Adventist

Church.
2. The team should have at most 10 people in it.
3. The drama to be portrayed should be biblical.
4. Presenters should provide the judges copies (produce at least 5 copies) of the story line
before the event starts.
5. Costume, props, and backdrops should be provided by the contestants.
6. The drama should last for not more than 10 minutes (including the setting up of stage).
Groups that go over the time limit will have 1 point deducted from their final score for
every half minute they go over.
7. Participants should be in the event venue 15 minutes before the start of the competition
so as to avoid disqualification.
8. Registration: 200 pesos per team

 Acting 50%
1. Characterization
2. Use of voice, energy levels
3. Movement
4. Teamwork, use of stage space

 Production 20%
1. Method of performance
2. Efficient use of space
3. Relevance of the musical soundtrack

 Memorization 20%
1. Memorization of lines
2. Memorization of the flow of the drama

 Stage Presentation 10%

1. Costumes
2. Props, Backdrops
3. Appeal to the audience
