Performance Standard The learners will show proficiency in constructing grammatically correct
sentences in varied theme-based oral and written activities.
Content Standard The learners demonstrate understanding of grammatical structures of
English to be able to communicate effectively in oral and written forms.
Learning Competency:  Prepositions (EN3G- IVg-7)
 Use the most frequently occurring prepositions e.g. towards, beside,
into, etc. (EN3G-IVg-h-7.3)
Key  The students will know on how to use proper words in describing the
Concept/Understanding proper place.

Knowledge:  Recognize the prepositions in the
sentence.
Objectives Skill:  Choose the correct prepositions such as
besides, into, towards, in, on, under, etc.
that use in a sentence.
Attitude:  Appreciate the proper usage of
preposition in a real-life situation.

ELEMENTS OF THE PLAN PROCEDURES
Preparation Prayer The teacher will ask a representative from the
class to lead the prayer.
Checking of attendance The teacher will call the names of the students
individually.
Energizer The teacher will lead the class to sing a “Twinkle
Twinkle Little Star”
The teacher will ask the students about the
lesson last meeting.
Guided Questions:
Review  What was our topic last meeting?
 What is adjective?
 Give me words that describe the noun or
pronoun.
“Showing Pictures”
The teacher will show pictures to the class and

picture.

“Put Me”
Introductory Activity  The teacher will instruct the students to
stand and to hold one of the things they
have, it’s either a pencil, paper, eraser, or
bags. Then the students will listen to the

 The teacher will tell the students to put
the things they have held on the table,
under the table, besides the chairs, or
between the chairs.

The teacher will introduce the lesson involving
prepositions

Practice
The teacher will show pictures involving
Prepositions and she will ask the students of
what was in the pictures. On the other hand, the
students will choose an appropriate Preposition
to use based on the pictures.

in or under the table?
 How about the cat? Where is it?
 Where is the teddy bear in this picture?
 How about the rat? Is it on, under, or in
the box?

“Differentiated Task”
The class will divide into three groups and each
group will be given a different picture and they
will choose sentences, involving preposition, that
describe the picture.
