Dear Parents/Guardians

Study break for Primary 6 students before Primary School Leaving

Examination(PSLE)

1. The school will be implementing a study break for Primary 6 students from 26 - 28
September as an additional measure to support student well-being and minimise
any risk of school-based COVID-19 transmission prior to the PSLE.

2. During the study break, students are to remain at home to do their revision, so as
to reduce the risk of contracting the virus from the community. Learning resources
(e.g. videos, powerpoint slides, etc.) by subjects will be uploaded on Student
Learning Space (SLS) to help students with their revision. There will also be daily
online sessions with subject teachers. These revision sessions are for your
child/ward to ask questions to clarify their doubts. The titles of the learning
resources on SLS are in Annex A and the timetable for online sessions with subject
teachers and zoom details are in Annex B. Students are to follow the given timetable
and strongly encouraged to attend the online revision sessions with their subject
teachers.

3. Students who require additional support will do their revision in school, supervised
by teachers. Normal lessons will not be conducted during the study break but
students will have access to revision resources. Subject teachers will conduct daily
revision sessions and support the students if they need clarification in their
subjects. You will be informed if your child/ward is required to return to school
during the study break.

4. Should you require any clarifications, please contact your child/ward’s form
teachers.

sessions punctually.
• Get ready the required learning materials and stationery for each subject.
• Sign into zoom sessions with your class and name. E.g. P64 Claire Heng. Turn on your camera for identification.
