SUMMARY OF THE INTERVIEW

Mrs. Nora Manalansan was the interviewee on the said interview. First, she

introduced herself as a teacher at Prenza National High School which is currently 25

years in service. She is using cellphone, Ipad, and laptop most of the time. And since

she is a teacher, she often use laptop for classes and recording of her student’s files.

She said that the advantage of computing devices is that it makes her work easier than

before since we are now using modern technology unlike before, when teachers are

doing and recording things manually which is also time consuming. With this, she can

efficiently and effectively submit reports and paperwork needed. On the other hand, she

also stated the disadvantage or negative effect of using computing devices in which she

is starting to depend on the electronic device and she does not have more knowledge

regarding the functions and working of the devices so she is asking help from her

children. Also, she is also experiencing frozen screens which is a natural occurrence to

computing devices when they feel tired. She also said that if people can be tired, so will

our devices which she fully understood. Lastly, she said that in order to prevent the

negative effects like the frozen screen, we should learn how to discipline ourselves in

managing and using our computing devices and let them rest since like humans,

devices need rest too. That’s the end of the interview.
