The flow chart describes the entire life cycle of a honey bee.

The whole process lasts from 34 to 36 days, from the time eggs are laid, till they reach full maturity.

The cycle starts with the laying of one or two eggs, which can take place every three days. After a period
of incubation, they hatch on the 9th or 10th day. The newly hatched nymphs go through a moulting
process, which starts at on the 5th day after they hatch, and they would triple their size at hatching by
the 9th day before transforming into young adults.

These adult nymphs then increase in size over the next four days before reaching full maturity, thus
ready for mating.

From what can be seen from the process, one can observe that the entire life span of a honey can be
looked at as rather brief compared to other that of other animals.
