1.) How effective is his delivery regarding his idea of leadership?

Simon Sinek’s way of delivering his speech is very motivational in a way not only his
listeners or viewers were amused but also the way he relates it to certain scenarios in our
daily lives. The way he talks to the person whom he is talking to is amazing, it feels like
Simon was talking to me where I am just a viewer and at the same time, a listener. His
gestures and eye contact in the way he talks to the person are remarkable because it is
good that when you are talking to someone, good eye contact and proper gesture must be
properly used.
From the video presented, I have observed his tone rising and falling when he is
talking to the person and the audience. From that particular standpoint, every word he says
gives an impact on the audience because Simon emphasizes the words he uttered to the
audience and to the person he is talking to.
Overall, the delivery of Simon’s speech is great and it motivates me and the viewers
due to his remarkable skills in delivering his speech to the audience and the person to
whom he is talking. When giving any kind of communication, verbal and nonverbal cues are
crucial.
2.) What is the main idea of his speech?
The main idea of his speech is how a good leader transforms into a better one. As
presented in the video, Simon Sinek emphasizes how the qualities of a good leader
integrate with how you treat others. Both in a relationship and in becoming a leader,
nothing you do once will have any lasting impact unless you do it every day. Over time, it's a
lot simpler to demonstrate. Similar to life, leadership has changed. It's not always about
how hard you work; sometimes, it's about how consistently you do the little things so that
the big things count.
People frequently give up their work when their efforts provide no results.
Consistency, commitment, and attention to the needs of the group are key components of
leadership. When you consistently perform the little things, they add up to produce
encouraging outcomes.
Last but not least, develop a strong corporate culture and connect with the
individuals you work with to view them as brothers and sisters. to cultivate discipline and
devotion, to motivate others, and to motivate oneself.
3. Do you find the speech relevant to your personal journey in life?
I do find the speech relevant to my personal journey in life because being a
leader is hard and it depends on my disposition on how I lead my people in a particular
community. As an ex-seminarian, I used to lead my colleagues in terms of maintaining
the cleanliness of the seminary premises. I’ve come to realize that the priests are
depending on how I lead my colleagues in cleaning the seminary premises every single
day. And frankly speaking, I don’t know how to lead my colleagues because there are
times that I could not keep my eyes on them whether they are working or not. When I
watched the video, Simon Sinek’s way of presenting his speech inspires me to lead my
people by dwelling with my colleagues by motivating them through inspirational talks
and other way of motivating them. And again, it depends on my disposition to do so.
