Directions:
1. Create a table with 2 columns and three rows. The first column is marked Prescriptive
Grammar and second column must carry the title Descriptive Grammar. The terms
“Principles of teaching grammar” must be indicated in the first row, the second row must
indicate the belief system and the third row contains what you understood. (A sample
template will be uploaded in MS Teams for your guidance)
2. Fill in the table with simple phrases and clauses only. Long sentences are
discouraged. Complete each row concisely but comprehensively.
3. Discuss your answer in an essay form. Your essay must be composed of 10
sentences only. Avoid run-on sentences and do not beat around the bush.
