ADDING/EDITING Employees

1. Your Role as Maker


• Makers add/edit details of employees in their wing. The Office Admin approves the
employee details added/edited by Makers from different Wings in an office.
• Makers nominate employees of their wing for trainings. Checkers from Administration/
Training wing approve the nominations after chosing from the list of nominations made by
several makers.
• The role of Maker has been assigned to you by an Office Admin and approved by your
primary Training Institute.
• A help file on logging into SAI TRG and on User Roles is available under Help Files
menu.

2. Log into SAI Training application


Enter the URL pdrtcb.gov.in in the address bar of your browser.The login screen is
displayed.

For first time login, type your name based official email id(ending with @cag.gov.in) as
User Name and your mobile number as password. Do not use designation based email
id if you have one like saoedp@cag.gov.in. You can change the password once logged
into your application.

** It may please be noted that all email ids of employees in IAAD, including those
created with @gov.in and @nic.in extensions now have the extension @cag.gov.in.

4. View Employee data in your Office


Click on Employee Master--> View Employee. You may use Ctrl+F to search for the
name of an employee of your Wing/Section in this page. If it is not found, his/her details
may be added using Add Employee menu.

You may export the data to a CSV file(formatted in Excel) using the Export button
provided above the employee data.

5. Adding an employee record


You can add employees of your Wing using Employee master-->Add Employee
menu. Add the details of the employee and click on Add Employee button to confirm
the changes.

The employee data would go to the Office Admin in a queue for Approval. Once in the
queue, only the Office Admin can make changes to the employee record. Therefore,
verify the records thoroughly before clicking on Add employee button.

You are requested to add the employees of only your wing.

6. Specific instructions for employee data


Add all the employees of your Wing except outsourced personnel, if any.

Instructions for filling the employee details:

All fields with * are mandatory.

Empid: 7 digit employee code assigned to an employee. (reference: Circular


No.35-NGE/2005 dated 11.05.2005 issued by HQ). For eg. If the employee code is
JKSRA3070574, type only 3070574. For IAAS officers, the ID assigned to the officer
and as mentioned in the latest classified list may be provided.(Discard the first 0 in the
ID mentioned in classified list).

Mobile number: 10 digit mobile number without country code(+91).

Official Email id: Name based official email id of employee ending with
@cag.gov.in.(Email ids of all employees in IAAD have the extension @cag.gov.in even
if created with @nic.in or @ gov.in extension). Do not use designation based email id
like sao1cr@cag.gov.in etc.

Wing currently posted: Select the Wing in which the employee is currently posted. If
the wing is not in the list, ask the Office Admin to add the wing.

Employee name in Hindi: Check the employee name in Hindi. If the name is incorrect
or is found in English, type the name in Hindi. If Hindi typing software is not installed,
one may use free tools available in internet and copy the name into the text boxes.

7. Editing an Employee record


• If the record of an employee is already available but the details are to be edited, use
Employee Master-->Edit Employee. Click on Edit icon and edit the details. Click on Edit
details button.
• The employee record would go to the Office Admin in a queue for Approval and would be
marked in Rosy brown till it is approved by Office Admin. Once approved by Office Admin,
the record will be marked in Blue.
• Review the details carefully before sending to the queue. Once sent to queue you will be
able to only view the record, not edit it.

8. Note
• Edit Employee menu has to be used only where corrections in already made entries are
to be effected. For instance, to make corrections in emailid, mobileno., Wing, designation
of the employee etc.
• When an employee's designation has changed due to promotion, Employee posting and
promotion menu would be used by Office Admin. Makers do not have access to this
menu.
• When an employee's Wing/Office is changed due to transfer/deputation, Employee
posting and promotion menu would be used by Office Admin. Makers do not have access
to this menu.
