‘Impok’ Challenge

PERFORMANCE TASK(S) GRASPS

GOAL Your task is to create your own Impok Challenge following a pattern in
arithmetic sequence.

ROLE You are the ‘Saver’ or the person in charge of saving your money following a
pattern in arithmetic sequence.

AUDIENCE Your audience are the immediate persons who will benefit from your saving
habits.

SITUATION “Impok Challenge” became popular these days because of its advantages
specially in times of financial crisis in this pandemic situation. In this type of
saving, the saver (student) follows a specific rule of saving his money in a piggy
bank. Usually, the rule is by increasing a certain amount of money within a
period of time. It takes guts, discipline, and determination to do the challenge
but in the end the reward is fruitful.

Now that you understand the concept of arithmetic sequence. It is time for
you to apply what have you learned in real-life situation.

Your task is to create your own Impok Challenge following arithmetic


sequence. Write your purpose, procedures, and the amount of money you will
save based on your prepared time allotment. Do this saving activity until the
end of the last week of the First Quarter of the school year. Write this on a 1
whole sheet of paper.

Meanwhile, use any recyclable bottle, box or any materials that you can find in
your home as your piggy bank. Paste the label of the challenge on your piggy
bank. Enjoy Saving!

PRODUCT You are expected to create a piggy bank made of recyclable materials found in
your immediate environment or home. The piggy bank serve as the ‘tool’ to
realize your ‘Impok’ Challenge.

STANDARDS & The following rubric will be used as basis of grading your ‘Impok’ Challenge.
