CV BHIRAWA J. ARIFI
About
Bhirawa graduated in 2015 with honors from the Faculty of Law of the University of Gadjah Mada
with a specialty in International Law. Right after graduation, his desire to learn European law and to
pursue a master degree abroad has led him into the most prestigious university in France where he has
obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M) in French and European Law from the Université Paris I
Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2016. Bhirawa then became the youngest LL.M graduate and the first
Indonesian in the history of Sorbonne Law School to graduate the LL.M Program. Supported by his
multi-language (fluent in French, English, and Spanish) and writing skills, Bhirawa is listed as an
active writer and contributor to The Jakarta Post.

Bhirawa started his legal career in France where he has worked as an intern associate in a top tier
global law firm based in Paris, serving under its Competition Law Department. Additionally, he had
the opportunity to work as an associate in a French law firm under the direct supervision of Maître
Noémie Houchet, Managing Partner of NHT Avocats in Paris, where he handled cases and
transactions for French and foreign clients in the field of international private law, in a wide range of
commercial and family matters.

As a French graduate, Bhirawa is certified as a listed Attorney and legal counsel of the French
Embassy in Jakarta, under the Decree of the French Ambassador in Jakarta dated 26 September 2018.
Bhirawa is also a member of the French-Indonesia Alumni Association (IAPI) National Board, and as
well an active member of France Alumni of the French Embassy in Jakarta.
