Some believe technology has made our lives too complex and the solution is to lead a simpler life without

technology. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In recent years, it has been increasingly common to see the complexity among citizen lives due to the

massive growth of technology. Some people believe that limiting technological uses would be likely to

make people's lives less complicated. Personally, I partly disagree with this statement for the following

reasons.

On the one hand, there are still some reasons why people believe that technology is sophisticated. Firstly,

modern innovations have made us physically inactive and prone to developed health problems. For

example, in the United States, children are spending most of their time on social networks and video

games, which makes them more likely to run a higher risk of becoming overweight and contracting

cardiovascular problems. Furthermore, rapid developments of modern machinery also create several

difficulties for the older generations to keep up with as it might be really hard for them to understand.

On the other hand, it is widely acknowledged that continuous science research has shadowed all the globe

with its latest advancements and providing feasibility and ease in everyday life. To be more specific, the

latest means of transport such as trains and buses make individuals' lives easier by allowing them to travel

with less time and effort than in the past. Additionally, Digital telecommunication allows us to connect

with others without barriers in an easier, faster and more effective way. To exemplify, the emergence of the

internet leads to greater access to information and online communication among citizens, thus widening

their horizons
To conclude, while technology benefits people in terms of providing better means of transport and

communication, it still makes our lives complicated.
