Weather Forecast

Good evening and welcome to the weather forecast.

Oftentimes, people resort to talking about the weather during small talk. What if
instead of commenting on how humid it is outside, you mention how worms wriggle
to the surface before a flood?
The conversation would probably become much more interesting, right?

Or maybe, your friends are really into trivia. Blow your friends away at the next trivia
night with some wild facts about the weather.

Did you know that there is no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good
weather?
Or the fact that Aristotle wrote meteorology in 350 B.C?

Now, let’s see what the weather is like today, because we become the weather you
live in.

We have another mixed start to the day.

It's a reasonable day for a Bank Holiday Monday - sunny spells and a few afternoon
showers is the general theme.
Fairly cloudy skies overall, but some breaks will occur at times. The best sunshine
typically near to western coasts in the afternoon.
Local patchy rain for eastern Scotland in the morning, plus an odd pocket of drizzle
elsewhere around low cloud, but many places will be dry until a scattering of
showers form by afternoon. Many will miss these, but where they do form, they will
be quite slow-moving with light winds, an odd heavy burst of rain is possible.
Today's top temperatures reaching 14 to 17C, feeling pleasant in any sun. Cooler
with local sea breezes near the coast. The northeast of Scotland and England will be
cooler with a northerly breeze here.

The wind direction in London indicates NW points, in Bristol – WNW, Liverpool – NW

and Glasgow – ENE.

We have medium risk of the UV Index, that means the sun is not dangerous, but you
should avoid being in direct sunlight for more than 1 to 2 hours.

Also, good news for people who drive. We have good road conditions, that means
dry roads.
