FAQ

1. How far is Jackson Hole Airport from Turpin Meadow Ranch?


• The drive is 45 minutes. Be careful of wildlife on the road!
• Uber and Lyft are extremely rare around Jackson Hole.

2. How far is downtown Jackson from Turpin Meadow Ranch?


• Turpin Meadow Ranch is in a remote area 1-hour outside of
downtown Jackson.

3. Does every cabin have a kitchen at Turpin Meadow Ranch?


• The cabins do not have a kitchen. The lodge has a full-service
restaurant and bar on-site.
• A free breakfast buffet is available every morning in the lodge
dining room from 7:30am-9:30am. Highly recommended!
• Lunch and dinner are not included.

4. What other dining options are nearby?


• There is nothing! Be prepared to drive to downtown Jackson or
Teton Village (1-hour away).

5. What activities are available?


• Free: Mountain bikes, hiking
• A la carte: horseback riding, fly-fishing,
UTV rentals, guided tours.

6. What is cell phone service like at Turpin Meadow Ranch?


• Be prepared to have no cell phone service while on property.
There is limited WiFi in every cabin. Put your phone down and
relax for a change.

7. What is the dress code for the ceremony and celebratory dinner?
• Cocktail attire is required.
8. Does my cabin have air conditioning?
• Heck no! Welcome to Wyoming. The average daytime
temperature in September is 65 degrees. The average overnight
temperature is 35 degrees. But they do have a heater in each
cabin! Be prepared for the small possibility of a passing snow
showers overnight.

9. How far is Grand Teton National Park?


• The Moran entrance station is 25 minutes from TMR.

10. How far is Yellowstone National Park?


• The South entrance station is 90 minutes from TMR.

11. Do the National Parks have an entrance fee?


• The entrance to GTNP is $35.00
• The entrance to YNP is $35.00
• Passes (per car) are valid for 7 days
• Pro tip: If you plan to visit both parks, we highly recommend
buying an annual pass (valid for 1-year) for $80.00

12. What kind of wildlife will I see?


• The Park Rangers usually let the animals out of the cage every
morning around 7:00am. Expect to see grizzly bears, black
bears, wolves, bison, elk, moose, coyotes, owls, bald eagles, too
name a few.

15. I am hiking in Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Bridger-Teton NF.


Do I need bear spray?
• This is bear country. Although encounters are rare, we highly
recommend carrying bear spray.
