It was when September 9th in the morning, an unusual and exciting day as of it brings another
unexpected future holding. We, my brother, had an agreement to go to Dagupan City at that day. After
doing all the necessary preparations which is somewhat exhausting yet stimulating. We commuted via
tricycle as well as jeepney, we both had small chats along the way that kept us busy and interested. It
was actually a "brother bond" that is treasurable in our lifetime, after around 10 years wherein it was
only the day I and my brother had went out. We appreciated every view we see on our way and made
fun hypothesized scenarios which served as our topics in our conversation. Every moment was
memorable including the small things which is very appreciated. Even the small things such as paying for
the fares was interesting enough due to our behavior like being weird. Regardless of where we will go or
what we will do, as long as we are being true to ourselves, we can keep ourselves away from boredom.
This is how brothers can actually describe, a strong bond intertwined firmly that is unbreakable.

As we stepped in Dagupan City, it was a wonderful in feelings to arrive at our destination while
we sacrificed energy and efforts. We looked for pants and shirts as well as the other necessary things for
school, it feels somewhat wasted as we don’t usually buy school supplies but is really needed. As we
walk through people, I was amazed on how tall my brother is when compared to average height of
people we meet along the streets, he is 5'11 feet. After buying what we needed, we went to McDonald's
for a lunch, and I treated him, it feels good to treat someone close to you after many years. We're
somewhat weird as mentioned earlier, so while we were eating, we had talked a lot but in different
languages and it was fun looking through my peripheral view at the reactions of people around us. They
feel bothered, some were amused, and some were really weirded out. I was disappointed after I found
out that we cannot go to SM Center due to the flood on the way and we had our shoes on. Before we
had decided to go home, we went for street foods and foods was delicious and entertaining to eat while
we look at different people’s perspective passing us by. After everything, we went home, it was very
worth it, it was fun, and I hope that we will have this kind of bond once again soon. This will forever
embed to my heart; such simple days can actually provide us a triumph that fills up the dark and blank
side of our own lives before natural ways takes every precious thing to us as a mere human being that
struggles through what they call “gift of life”.
