That photo is our first ever family photo and I remember I was super excited

during that time because no other joy can be given to you when your family is
complete. It gives me a nostalgic feeling whenever I look at our old family photo
because those were the days that I am just worrying about toys and what games to
play with my peers. If this photo were captured in the present time, I guess I would just
change how I smile, I could’ve smiled better on that photo. That is why you notice on
the recent family photo I put up a better smile, but I didn’t hug my older brother that
time because I felt like it is much formal to just sit like that and smile.

Reminiscing on the past, our family has gone through a lot of hardship. Since
both of my brothers were studying college, our family finances were just enough for
our education and food but despite that, we were filled with love and care by both of
our parents. Even though we are struggling financially at that time, yet both our parents
never fail to have a birthday celebration. They would prepare food and invite our
relatives and neighbors. I can see the effort that both my parents give whenever it is
our birthday and I so much appreciate it. Now, both my brother has jobs and whenever
there is a birthday in our family it is much more extravagant especially when it is the
birthday of our mother. It is just a typical story, but it is something that I treasure the
most in this world.
