Objectives:

1. Raise awareness in the population about marine pollution (UN Ocean Conference, 2022).
2. Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable
development (UN Ocean Conference, 2022).
3. Mitigate the problem caused by ocean debris and the danger that plastic pollution poses to
marine life (Makabongwe Vuketwele, 2021).
4. Aid in better-informed policy decisions and improved solid waste management programs
(International Coastal Cleanup, ICC).
5. Save Soleanas Beach Resort from water pollution and remove trash and debris from
beaches.

Note: Our group gathered a total amount of PHP 50,000 through registration fees and donors,
and we incurred a total expense of PHP 36,730. So, we gathered excess amounting to PHP
13,270 and our group decided to donate it to the Provincial Environment Management Office
located in Bacolod City.
