Security isn't simply a technology issue; it’s a business issue. Discuss.

It's both. Security is technically and initially a technology issue. It becomes a business issue
when the business refuses to uphold its responsibility in paying the security providers. Though it
may seem obvious, security needs consistent maintenance and checking to ensure that it still
meets the standard. After all, it is technology. Now, if businesses forego such tasks and costs,
then it is no longer a mere technology issue; it is an issue that arises from businesses'
negligence. Having a hold of massive personal data entails big responsibility. Thus, companies
must go the extra mile in protecting these data by investing in quality security and ensuring that
it will function smoothly in the long run.
