Every year thousands of Indian NRI parents and students look

towards India for engineering admission in various prestigious

2. About DASA / CIWG Scheme
DASA Scheme:
Stands for (Direct Admission Student Abroad) – This scheme also
known as NRI Quota for admission in Indian Engineering Colleges,
primarily which comes under CFTIs (Centrally Funded Institution)
category in India.
NRIs / OCIs & PIOs across the world can apply under DASA Scheme
and avail admission in CFTI engineering colleges in India.

CIWG Scheme:
Stands for (Children of Indian Workers In Gulf) – This scheme is a
sub set of DASA. It’s not a separate scheme. But, this comes with
some added advantages for NRI students from Middle Eastern
countries like Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait,
Qatar & Bahrain.
This scheme can only be availed by NRI students from Middle East
for admission in Indian Engineering Colleges.
CIWG Scheme can help NRI Students getting admission in
engineering colleges in India (CFTIs) Centrally funded institution in
India.
