Pampanga. (Present a picture of a tornado. )

What can you say about the picture? Is it dangerous or not?

Present a paragraph about tornado.

What causes a tornado? A “front” forms between a cold air mass and a
warm air mass. Sometimes a cold air mass moves in above the warm air. The hot
air rises. It spins. Then it forms a funnel-shaped cloud – a tornado. Weather experts
look for these conditions. Then they give a “tornado watch”. The winds inside a
tornado may reach 500 miles per hour. Sometimes a tornado touches the ground
and destroys everything in its way.
Using the comprehension ball and music, each of the chosen students will
get one question and will answer it in front of the class.

b. Where does cold air mass move that causes tornado?
c. Who looks for tornadoes and give a “tornado watch”?
d. When will tornado becomes dangerous?
e. How can we be safe in case a tornado hits our place?

For a sentence to be clear ,it is important for the subject and the verb to agree.
Remember theses rules.

1. Adding the -s or -es to a verb makes it singular. The plural form of the verb is the
base form.

Example: swim (plural)

swims (singular)

2. Singular nouns or pronouns as subject of the sentence take singular verbs.

Example : Trey catches a fish.

But I and You takes plural verb.

You catch a fish.


I catch a fish.

3. Plural nouns or pronouns as subject of the sentence take plural verbs.

Example:

The children are using their paddles.

4. When the subject is composed of two or more nouns or pronouns joined by and,
use the plural verb

Example:
Trey and Daniel are in the fishpond.
5. When Two singular nouns or pronouns are joined by or or nor; use singular verb.

Example:

Either Trey’s mother or father is rowing the boat.

6. When there are two subjects in a sentence , one of which is singular and the
other is plural joined by or or nor , the verb agrees with the one nearer to it.

Example: Mang Dick or the boys are selling the catched fish.

A. Panimulang Gawain:
1. Pagganyak:
Paano tayo gumagamit nang malinaw at angkop na pananalita? Nauunawaan mo ba
ang pagsasalaysay ng iyong kausap?

2. Pagtatakda ng Layunin:
Natatandaan mo ba ang tugmang ito?
Ang watawat ay pambansang sagisag Dapat nating igalang at pangalagaan Habang
inaawit ang Lupang Hinirang. Tayo ay tumigil sa ating paglalakad.

Kailan daw tayo dapat tumigil sa paglalakad?

B. Paglalahad:
Pagbasa ng kuwento,
“Ang Pangingisda”.

Sa baryo ng Sta Tereza 2nd bayan Lubao may isang mangingisda na ang pangalan ay
Mang Boyet. Siya ay mahusay sa pangingisda. Hinahangaan siya ng lahat ng tao sa
galing nito. Sa tuwing hapon siya ay lalaot sa ilog na may dalang timba at batya,
mabilis niyang pinaghihiwalay ang huling hipon at isda. Sapat lang ang kanyang
nakukuhang isda ngunit siya ay maligaya at masayang inuuwi ito sa kanyang pamilya.

C. Pagtalakay:
1. Pagtalakay sa binasa
Pagsagot sa mga tanong na may pag-iisip
2. Piliin ang mga sugnay na pang-abay na ginamit sa mga pangungusap na hinago sa
kuwento. Isulat ang inyong sagot sa loob ng tsart. Tngnan ang halimhawang pormat.
Panlunan Pamaraan Pamanahon
Sa ilog Mabilis pinaghihiwalay Tuwing hapon

D. Paglalahat:
Anu-ano ang mga sugnay na pang-abay?

E. Paglalapat:
Sabihin kung ang may salungguhit na mga sugnay na pang-abay sa bawat pangungusap ay
pamaraan, panlunan o pamanahon.

1. Magaling humuli ng isda si Mang Boyet.


2. Siya ay pupunta ng ilog para mangisda.
3. Tuwing hapon uuwi siya ng may bitbit na mga hipon at isda.

IV. Pagtataya:
Gamitin sa pangungusap ang mga pang-abay na pamaraan, panlunan at pamanahon.

V. Takdang-Aralin:
Sumulat ng isang talata tungkol sa mga gawain mo sa araw-araw. Maaaring ito ay sa bahay o
sa paaralan. Ilarawan kung paano, saan at kailan mo ito ginagawa. Lagyan ng angkop na
pamagat.
