    A Perfect Christmas
    One-sided love broke the see-saw down
    My idea of a perfect Christmas
    I got to get rough when I hear the grudge
    Is to spend it with you
    And you went your way and I went wild
    In a party or dinner for two
    And girl, you'd understand if your heart was
    Anywhere would do
    mine
    Celebrating the yuletide season
    Always lights up our lives If we had an exchange of hearts
    Simple pleasures are made special too Then you'd know why I fell apart
    When they're shared with you You'd feel the pain when the mem'ries start
    If we had an exchange of hearts
    Looking through some old photographs
    Faces and friends we'll always remember I'd never wished a lonely heart on you
    Watching busy shoppers rushing about It's not your fault, I chose to play the fool
    In the cool breeze of December One day may come when you'll be in my
    Sparkling lights all over town shoes
    Children's carols in the air Then your heart will break and you'll feel
    By the Christmas tree just like I do
    A shower of stardust on your hair
    If we had an exchange of hearts
    I can't think of a better Christmas Then you'd know why I fell apart
    Than my wish coming true You'd feel the pain when the mem'ries start
    And my wish is that you'd let me spend If we had an exchange of hearts
    My whole life with you
    When time turns the tables and soon I'll be
    Looking through some old photographs able
    Faces and friends we'll always remember To find a new romance
    Watching busy shoppers rushing about And then you'll remember my love warm
    In the cool breeze of December and tender

    Children's carols in the air

    By the Christmas tree
