student. Going back there is a lot that happened and there are many things that I’ve
learned in school, but what are the changes and differences between high school life
There are a lot of differences between high school and college, I must say that
in terms of their mode of learning. In High school teachers are expected to discuss
everything with the students while in college professor there is some time that
professors are just giving basic information or just giving an introduction about the
topic. In terms of giving assignments, both are the same but the difficulty of the
assignment given is different in high school, assignments are given by the end of the
discussion but in college assignments are given before the discussion, meaning that
topic to answer that assignment. When it comes to schedules, high school students
have a fixed schedule they must stay in the school for about 8 hours or some schools
only have 6 hours of school time including their recess and lunch hours, while in
college it is more complex, for each major subject you’ll have to stay in class for 3
hours and for minor subjects you’ll have to stay for 1 hour to 2 hours, there are also
laboratory subjects and you either have a lunch break or none. There are also vacant
hours before you go to your next class, it will take 1 hour or 3 hours. High School
and College life also have social diversity, when we say social diversity or diverse
social life we encounter or we interact with different students with different religions,
cultures, economic statuses, and many more. I experience having a classmate in high
school whose age is twice our age in the class, the same thing happens in my current
college class whose also twice our age. In college, as I observe, students are now
serious about the courses that they took. College makes us more mature about what’s
