Many modern computing technologies are being used today, one of

which is Cloud Computing. Cloud computing is an application of hardware and

software that can be easily accessed at any time and anywhere with the use

of the internet. Modern computing technologies have adverse effects that can

be experienced in the industry. Internet is a must when using Cloud, so to use

this type of computing technology you must have access to the internet, this

will be an inconvenience to some of us since we do not always have data or

internet. When it comes to storing data, documents, etc. there will always be

limitations, for example in iCloud or Gdrive you will be given free storage that

can hold up to 15Gb or more but if you need more you will need to upgrade

and pay every month for you to continuously use that upgraded storage.

Security and privacy, here in the Philippines we rent pc or computers outside,

sometimes when we rent pc we tend to forget to logout and clear the browsing

history to that pc we use, and since it’s not your personal pc someone will try

to hack your account, not only that, files tend to get corrupted and inaccessible

over time.
