Direction: Answer the following Questions.

1. Identify and discuss the Common Injuries of Aerobic Exercises.

- Plantar fasciitis (arch pain) – Frequent stress on the plantar aspect, or bottom of the
foot, during an aerobics practice is a common cause of arch discomfort.
- Heel spurs – When calcium deposits accumulate on the underside of the heel bone,
heel spur syndrome, a condition related to plantar fasciitis, develops.
- The sesamoids, a group of auxiliary bones located below the substantial first
metatarsal bone, are sometimes referred to as the ball bearings of the foot.
- Shin splints — Aside from ankle sprains, shin splints may be the most frequent injury
to the lower body since they are caused by the muscles that lift and lower the foot.
- Pain in the achilles tendon and calf — An aerobics routine's many toe raises
frequently result in discomfort and tightness.

2. Enumerate the Health benefits of Aerobics Exercises and Explain?

- Enhances cardiovascular health- People with heart disease or those at risk for it are
advised to engage in aerobic exercise, according to the American Heart
AssociationTrusted Source and the majority of physicians.
- Blood pressure is reduced through cardiovascular activity, which may also be used to
treat high blood pressure symptoms.
- Blood sugar levels are lowered and insulin levels are regulated by regular exercise,
which also controls body weight.
- Reduces asthma symptoms: People who have asthma can benefit from aerobic
exercise by reducing the frequency and intensity of asthma attacks.
- Reduces chronic pain - If you suffer from chronic back pain, cardiovascular exercise,
particularly low-impact exercises like swimming or aqua aerobics, may help you
regain your muscle's endurance and function.
- Improves sleep: Try doing cardiovascular exercise while you're awake if you have
difficulties falling asleep at night.
