Jingle Bells

Dashing through the snow A day or two ago

In a one-horse open sleigh I thought I'd take a ride
Through the fields we go And soon Miss Fanny Bright
Laughing all the way. Was seated by my side;
Bells on bob-tail ring The horse was lean and lank
Making spirits bright Misfortune seemed his lot,
What fun it is to ride and sing We ran into a drifted bank
A sleighing song tonight. And there we got upshot.

Chorus: Jingle bells, jingle bells A day or two ago

Jingle all the way, The story I must tell
Oh what fun it is to ride I went out on the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh, O And on my back I fell;
Jingle bells, jingle bells A gent was riding by
Jingle all the way, In a one-horse open sleigh
Oh what fun it is to ride He laughed at me as
In a one-horse open sleigh. I there sprawling laid
But quickly drove away.

Now the ground is white,

Go it while you're young,
Take the girls along
And sing this sleighing song.
Just bet a bob-tailed bay,
Two-forty as his speed,
Hitch him to an open sleigh
and crack! You'll take the lead.

Riddle
Reindeer pull me through the sky.
Santa rides in me with present for
children.
What am I?

Rudolph, the Red-nosed Reindeer

Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer

had a very shiny nose,
and if you ever saw it
you would even say it glows.

All of the other reindeer

used to laugh and call him names.
They never let poor Rudolph
join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve

Santa came to say:
“Rudolph with your nose so bright
won’t you guide my sleigh tonight”?

Then how the reindeer loved him

as they shouted out with glee,
“Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer
you’ll go down in history”.

may your days be merry and bright
and may all your Christmases be white
