REFLECTION PAPER
“Defying the Odds: Welcoming Challenges and Taking Opportunities”

I would like to commend for the activity, i.e., Jam board, as motivation before the start of the
delivery of the subject matter. Knowing this kind activity is a learning for me, which I can utilize in
presenting online reports either at school or at graduate studies. The activity solicits ideas regarding the
challenges and opportunities that occurs because of the various adversities the pandemic has brought us.
I’ve become aware of others’ experiences and stories that happens on their region, which made me
understand that there are commonalities on the issues and challenges but there are also differences that
are unique and worth looking for. Sharing the solutions with each other is an awakening for me that
sometimes my perspective on solving these problems isn’t universal. Moreover, in my perspective, the
education sector is a diverse community with unending challenges and valuable opportunities. Hence, as
an educator, we must be versatile and open in dealing challenges and grab those opportunities to improve
our teaching and learning domain.
