THE TANGERINE NIGHTCLUB -NIGHT

Its late in The Tangerine Nightclub business is booming,

flashing strobe lights and smoke machines chugging out smoke
filling the club, fluorescent-coloured drinks catching the
light illuminating the club dwellers, visibility is low and
loud music blaring

The main character then comes into shot talking up a girl but
it’s the end of the conversation
Daniel
Ill message you when home yeah?
Woman #1
winks and leaves

Daniel
Asks bartender if she is a regular here
She come here often at all or?
Bartender
Sorry mate im not allowed to tell you that for privacy reasons
Daniel
Come on bro , I just wanna know if ill see her again
Bartender

Daniel
Ahh okay don’t worry then ill ask around

Daniel walks off, he looks around and spots an interesting old

lady, he walks up to her
Daniel
Hey there, you lost? Haven't seen anyone like you here before
Old lady
Turns around to look at him
why would I be lost in a flashing light smoke filled room by
accident?
Daniel is taken back by the way she talks, he turns around to
see if anyone heard her also but when he turns back and she is
gone
Daniel
Huh?? What?
What was put in my drink?

Apart from his confusion he feels fine , he goes to ask more

people about the girl to find out if she Is a regular or not ,
he finds someone that he noticed earlier
daniel
Hey was just wondering if you happened to know that girl that
I was talking to earlier? You know if she is a regular here?
random guy
Uh depends whos asking
daniel
Im a friend of hers
random guy
A friend that doesn’t know if she comes here regularly ? Not
sure if you should be asking these questions
He signals to some security and they take Daniel to a back
room
daniel
Woah woah woah, whats all this for? Was just trying to find
out something

As he says this a loud bang goes off in the main part of the
club , their radios filled with chatter telling them to go
help people out the building

He have a situation in the building go get people out now
The 2 guards run out to help people leaving Daniel in the room
daniel
Okay then? I guess ill also just leave
He goes to open the door but its keycard locked , he looks
around the room but there is no obvious card , he boots the
door in
daniel
Pretty weak lock
He goes down the stairs hearing more and more bangs every step
he takes, he looks round the corner , withing the flashing
lights and smoke he sees what seems to be a muzzle flash of a
gun , he looks down to then see someone dead on the floor who
tried to get up the stairs
Daniel
Holy fu
The fire alarm sounds. Daniel hears a bullet wizz past his
head he dives towards a wall to take cover behind, the music
cuts for a voice
person on microphone
Everyone needs to get out of here now, there is a crazy person
with a gun
Suddenly the guy stops talking as another gunshot goes off the
microphone rings, daniel looks to his right and notices the
guy from earlier that snitched on him
Daniel
whispering
Hey you over there , oi
random guy
Shh she will hear us
Daniel signals for him to come closer, he is hesitant but then
comes over
You have any ideas then how to get us out of this mess?
Daniel
At the moment not just yet
random guy
God sake
daniel
Hold on I got an idea, if we can somehow get their attention
away from the exit or get behind them we can get out
random guy
Are you crazy?! Cant we just call police ?
daniel
Well thanks to you snitching I got my phone taken so its all
up to you for that
random guy
Cant mines dead and there is no signal in here anyway
daniel
Well we arent able to wait then, we are going to have to do it
ourselves, If you are able to make it to the bar and grab lots
of bottles full and empty we can make a distration either just
smashing the glasses or making a molotov

Lets do the first one ,id rather not burn down the whole
building incase

Ugh fine boring tho but I guess it works
They make their way over to the bar to grab some bottles as
this happens the shooter finds someone running for the exit
shooting them in the head, the bullet from this smashes one of
the bottles they are about to grab
random guy
You sure we should be doing this idea instead of just running?
daniel
Didn’t you just see what happened to him? If you want to try
your luck with that be my guest

Exactly so just stick to this plan
They continue to grab some bottles and perpare to make a
distraction

I just realised if we throw them away so they look away from
the door that’s pretty predictable and might not work, we have
to take them out

Oh damm yea that’s true we going to have to do it, so whats
the plan? Slowly get behind them?

It will work don’t worry , its smokey and there is music
playing they wont hear us coming

They make their way over slowly and throwing bottles around
the room to distract the shooter
