Notes:

1. Please keep all the valuable items like cash, jewelry etc. under your custody before the shifting
process starts.
2. Please highlight the timings during which external vehicles are allowed inside the premises. Some
societies have shifting restrictions in Morning/Evening/Sundays, so please check with the society
before the shifting date. Permissions, if any, should be taken by you in advance with RWA.
3. Any goods which have to be transferred through ropes will be done at the sole discretion of the
customer. PORTER will not be responsible for any damage to the goods in such a case. Please
highlight any concerns immediately. The Vendor has the right to collect all the packing material
after the shifting is over. If you wish to retain any carton box, you can do so by paying Rs. 50 per
box.
4. Installation of any electrical equipment is not included in the scope of this service after the
unloading at the destination.
5. The following goods are not acceptable for movement - Jewelry, Arms & Ammunitions,
Hazardous materials like Crackers, Explosives, Chemicals, Battery Acids, and Inflammable Oils;
such as Diesel, Petrol, Kerosene, Gasoline, Narcotics & Counter brand Items. The locking
/Unlocking of machines/appliances and any other electronic gadget which requires the technical
assistance of the manufacturer or their authorized dealer, should be arranged by the customer
themselves.
6. Refrigerators must be defrosted 24 hours prior to the packing to avoid water seepage.
7. Tolls, if any, would be charged extra on actuals.
8. The quotation provided is based on the details provided by the customer which includes material
list/movement date/distance. If there is any deviation in material list/movement date/distance, a
revised quotation will be offered based on the changes. For any revised quotation, the customer is
expected to contact Porter customer care instead of trying to negotiate with the vendor directly.
9. The price is inclusive of taxes and subject to change based on slot availability
10. Porter doesn't cover for any internal damages.
11. Damages for any goods not packed by Porter's crew are not covered by Porter.
12. Any damage during the shifting has to be highlighted within 48 hours of shifting completion.
