PRESENT PERFECT – JUST

I’VE JUST FINISHED MY HOMEWORK.

Acabo de terminar mi tarea.

Present perfect: Debemos recordar que el Present Perfect Tense lo usamos para
describir nuestras experiencias de vida y eventos que tienen relación o están vigentes hasta
el presente, de ahí proviene el nombre present. Las oraciones deben de tener dos
elementos importantes que son: have/has + past participle.

Present Perfect + JUST:

En esta ocasión vamos a usar oraciones en present perfect simple acompañado de la
palabra JUST (recientemente, justo, exactamente).
USE: La oración en present perfect + JUST se utiliza para describir una acción que
recientemente se ejecutó, es decir una acción que se ha realizado hace un momento o
recientemente. Se traduce como acabar de (hacer algo). Observa los ejemplos:

 I’ve just finished my homework. = Acabo de terminar mi tarea.

 He’s just made his bed. = Él acaba de arreglar su cama.
 Have they just bought a new microwave? = ¿Acaban ellos de comprar un nuevo
microondas?

Forms: Las oraciones en Present Perfect Tense con just pueden ser afirmativas,
negativas e interrogativas. Se debe colocar just antes del participio del verbo. La estructura
quedaría así: have/has + just + participle.
