Episode 13

Both go out and Sarika tells the police that the she found the necklace in her own
bag and she made a mistake. The police scolds her for wasting their time and and
tells her to ask forgiveness to Parimala and her family. Amulya taunts that her
mother always fondly talked of her sister Padma and her children but they behaved
so rudely with them now. Parimala and Manjunath are taken aback that her sister
Padma and husband remained silent throughout even as their daughter Sarika created
a scene. Amulya scolds Vedant that he jumped to conclusions that she is a thief
without understanding the complete situation, but Vedant tries to defend himself
saying anyone in his place would assume the same.

Parimala sobbingly leaves the venue with her family and returns home. At home, her
daughters try to pacify her, but she is inconsolable that no matter what, her they
had to face humiliation at the wedding and nothing can fix once the respect is
lost. they try to analyse what happened at the wedding, Arti wonders why Sarika
first accused them of stealing and later admitted that she has the necklace. Amulya
explains everyone that it was Vikrant who helped her identify the thief. Amulya
also reveals that On the previous night, Vikrant suspected something fishy as
Sarika entered Parimalas room and searched her bags. Vikrant recorded the video of
Sarikas misdeeds and approached Amulya only when police arrived thinking that all
these might caused disruption in the wedding and the grooms family character might
be under scrutiny due to the grooms sisters misdeeds. Parimala and her daughters
praise Vikrant and are thankful for his timely help. Arti thinks Vikrant is
childish on the outside but really sensible, helpful by heart and mind. Manjunath
says that its Vikrants upbringing which needs due credit. Parimala rebukes that
though Vikrant is good natured, his own brother Vedant is short tempered and
judgemental.

On the otherside, Padma and her husband welcome the newly weds Sarthak and Adhya
with the rituals and try to make Adhya comfortable in her new home. Sarika is seen
throwing things in her room in seething anger. Padma confronts her daughter Sarika
about her misdeeds at the wedding, Sarika is unabashed and says its the social and
economic status differences between her n her cousins and her behaviour(demeaning,
looking down upon poor is typical of her) as she is rich.

Padma scolds Sarika that theyre her cousins, her aunt and their family but Sarika
doesnt budge, Padma is about to slap Sarika but her husband stops her. Padmas
husband takes side of his daughter and supports her that the world doesnt matter to
him more than his daughters happiness. He thinks she might have not done anything
wrong. Padma is taken aback that she couldnt stand for her sister Parimala in terms
of crisis and feels guilty that Parimala had to face humiliation because of her own
daughter Sarika.

In another scene, Adhya calls up Vedant and requests him to apologise Amulya for
whatever he did. Vedant refuses to do so even as she explains it matters to her and
her new family but Vedant doesnt relent.

Padma calls Parimala to apologise but Padma refuses to talk to her and is too upset
to hear anything from Padma. The episode end with parimala telling her sister not
to sprinkle salt on wounds and her respect lost at the wedding cant be restored now
with a phonecall.
