Climate
Sun & wind
the sun's rays are abundant in the region in most parts of the year and

putting tall trees on the southern side to reduce the intensity of the sun's rays
in the afternoon and placing various umbrellas in more than one area to cover the
seating places
We can make hollows or hills in the ground of the site so that the
level of hot air is raised and this cold is lowered in the case of
summer.. and we can do the opposite in the places designated or
loved to sit in the winter so that the level of cold winds is reduced
and hot winds are reduced..
We can also control the air flow process in the site so that we put
trees that define the air path according to the need and the design
decision..
We can also prevent strong air from reaching the site, so that tree
air fenders are made to reduce the speed of the air and reduce its
quantity in one or more of the border sides of the site.
The lack of air, its lack, increase or strength may cause many
problems in the site, so you should pay attention to this item when
starting the design and before that when studying the sit

Sun noon
it shows the fall of the sun's rays at

Landscape style
There are no public parks and there is no specific model in
Jordan, so we will benefit from several options such as
Zahran Park
Vegetation
the area is considered to be soil erosion , due to the presence of an
inclination in the ground that works to erode it to the bottom of the
water collecting point
the lower part where
the water collects will
be dug in a pond to
be used for watering
the crops in the
ground .
After
Vegetation
Yellow soil (brown soil) It is found in the steppe areas, and it has a great relationship
with brown soil, but it is more calcareous than it is. Its vegetation consists of perennial herbs
Like Quba and others, and from some trees and shrubs such as acid and wormwood, and
there is a mixture of yellow soils and rimosole spread in areas
local soil It is brown to light yellow, and it is prevalent in desert areas, some of which
extend They contain large quantities of salts and their color often Over large areas
the lower part where the water collects will be dug in a pond to be used
for watering the crops in the ground.
There is a large hole in the site that was formed due to the
accumulation of water in it repeatedly and for long periods, and by
the action of man it was dug The depth of this pond is 12.5 meters
Plants on site:
design considerations
One of the characteristics of the desert climate is that temperatures in it during
the summer may exceed 50 degrees Celsius, which makes it difficult for most
plants to tolerate, especially what was planted during the summer, which is not
recommended for planting in it. But what is optimistic is that there are plants that
can adapt to these conditions and even give you flowers in bright colors. Here are
examples of them:
Ocimum basilicum
It is easy to care for because it tolerates drought
and extreme heat, and the most important thing is
to provide daily watering once, especially during
summer and extreme heat.
Lantana
The outer flowers are white when they open, then
turn yellowish-white, then pink, and so on, they are
gradual in multiple times, within less than a day!
The plant is almost flowering all year round.
take care of it:
It is watered daily during the summer, and reduced
in the winter, and fertilized once a year.
Wedelia trilobata
Very successful in tolerating heat, but the
bitter cold makes it disappear temporarily,
reappears as soon as the temperature
returns to the prevailing degrees of warmth.
About a plant that covers the soil, the bunny
man is a more than wonderful option.
Ocimum basilicum
It is grown for ornamental purposes and for its
distinctive fragrant smell. It has other
medicinal uses and is distinguished by its
tolerance to the heat of the atmosphere, so it
is suitable for cultivation in desert and dry
areas.
design considerations
The following are the most prominent plants that do not need water:
Types of Plants-Biennials
-Biennials live for two years, producing foliage the first
year and flowers the next.
-Flowering biennials include hollyhocks, foxglove, dianthus
and Canterbury bells.
Types of Plants-Biennials
-Most biennials are actually vegetables - beets, Brussels
sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, chard,
collards, endive, kale, kohlrabi, leeks, onions, parsley,
parsnip and rutabaga
- that produce food the first year but don't complete their
growing cycle and drop seed till the second
Types of Plants-Perennials
-Technically defined as a plant that lives for more than
two years, perennials are the backbone of any
landscape with colorful annuals providing variety.
-Depending on your climate, some perennials may keep
their leaves through the winter but most drop them and
die back to the ground to return again in the spring
Types of Plants-Bulbs
-One of the easiest plants to grow, bulbs provide plenty of
show-stopping color year after year for very little effort.
- Best of all, bulbs self-propogate meaning they multiply and
spread to quickly fill a small bed with blooms.
Landscape Plants in Jordan
Types of Plants-Evergreens
-Defined as plants that retain their leavesyear-
round, evergreens add a brightspot of color to a
winter landscape.
-Conifers, like pine, spruce, cedar and firare what
typically come to mind whenwe think of evergreens
but magnolia, hollies and eucalyptus trees are
alsoevergreens.
Types of Plants-Deciduous
-Deciduous trees and shrubs create the
kaleidoscope of orange, red and golden leaves we
enjoy each fall.
- Unlike evergreens that retain their leaves,
deciduous plants shed them each year before
entering a dormant period in winter, then grow a
new canopy of leaves in spring.
Types of Plants-Vines
-The acrobats of the plant world, climbing plants
allow you to take your garden to new heights when
planted alongside a trellis, arbor, wall or fence.
-Although a few vines, like morning glory and
nasturtium, are annuals, most are perennials, coming
back year after year to completely cover their
supporting structure with blooms, fruit or leaves
Types of Plants-Groundcovers
-If your yard includes a steep bank or bare patches
under trees where grass refuses to grow, planting
a hardy groundcover could be just the solution to
your landscaping woes.
-These low growers creep along the ground quickly
forming a dense mattha's resistant to weeds.
Types of Plants-Shrubs
- Compact and dense, shrubs can be either evergreen, like
boxwood, holly, barberry and azaleas or deciduous, like lilacs,
viburnum, forsythia and spirea.- Their small stature make shrubs
the perfect choice for foundation planting around your home but
shrubs are also ideal for adding color to hedges and borders or
anchoring garden beds.- Most all shrubs will benefit from an
occasional trim to help them keep their shape and promote new
growth -but always wait until the shrub has finished flowering for
the season
design considerations
Cone trees are evergreens with a height It grows in moist soils in the northern
of 20-30 meters, and cypress trees hemisphere. Willows are found in many parts
grow in poorly fertile gravel and clay of the world, where they are planted on the
soils that are well drained. These trees sides of streams and streams for the
benefit of the villagers in making shade and
are conical upright, and have small,
breaking the toxins of hot winds in summer
dense dark gray green leaves, and the and cold winds in winter. The tree grows
stem is upright and its branches are from broken branches, from which there are
dense upright. The bark is striped and both masculine and feminine. Willow bark
turns gray as the tree matures. contains salicylic acid, which is a component
of acetyl salicylic acid, which is the well-
known aspirin.
design considerations
The plant grows to a height of about 1.5 m, This species is one of the most
with the possibility of providing short heights common types of Albizia. The tree
spread close to the ground. Its leaves have grows to a height of 18-50
the appearance of short pine leaves, which meters, with a stem diameter of

length. Its needle leaves are greenish-gray medical purposes, and is also used
and dark in color in other countries for shading and
decoration.

Local materials and construction techniques
1- Concrete
Concrete has a great advantage in the possibility of forming and painting it in
any way you like, it gives you endless options and the opportunity to put the
shapes you like over the grass to give you a nice and tidy view, but the most
important thing that really distinguishes it is its hardness and its tolerance to
climatic fluctuations unlike other materials that may spoil from intense heat or
rain .
2- pebbles
One of the right choices for your garden floor is gravel. Besides being
an effective way to add dcor to your garden with a rustic and natural
touch, it is also useful as it prevents weeds from growing and absorbs
water perfectly. So you can use it in rainy places or as a way to drain
water for your garden irrigation.
3- wood
Without a doubt, wood is one of the most beloved materials in our hearts in
all parts of the house, because of what it gives nature and elegance to the
place with its warm color. Wood is not only used indoors but you can use it
as flooring for your garden as well. One of the most important advantages
of a wooden floor is the possibility of building a slightly raised surface with
longitudinal openings that serve as drains for rainy days and for cleaning.
4- stones
The stones with their unique shape and texture make them often a top choice
for outdoors. Besides its resistance to all external and climatic influences and
its unparalleled endurance, it also gives a landscape of the place for adventure
lovers and gives you the opportunity to shape stones next to each other to draw
the design you love.
5- Rubber (rubber)
The rubber can be a flooring for your garden, as it is characterized by its
easy installation and high efficiency. It's also easy to clean and comes in so
many colors and shapes that the choices are endless
6- Terracotta tiles
This type of flooring gives a simple, rustic feel and is also easy to clean.

park
1.metal +glass
2.wood
Except for the presence of a water pond on the site, which needs
continuous water supply, which can be obtained from its sources from
the continuous dam in the winter
Temperature
Although less important than the annual rainfall, the
temperature may limit the distribution of certain plants in the
region. Typically the lines of equal mean temperature
/isotherms/ follow the mountain ranges and the mean
temperature decreases with altitude. However, some increase
of mean temperature in the North-South direction is also
noticeable. The mean annual temperature of 18C and below
generally means that in this zone frosts may occur and
eventually endanger species that are not frost resistant. The
mean annual tempera ture of 22C may constitute the limit of
some hot-region plants such as Date Palm /Phoenix
dactylifera/ and Flamboyant /Delonix regia/ that would not
grow in colder climate successful

Justification (Concept - Function - Form - Structure)
concept
Pride and appreciation to inspire the homeland of Tajok, the traditional Korean symbol that can be found in the national
flag of South Korea, as a very proud, patriotic, figurative and recognizable motif. Perfect circular split in half, red and
blue, representing balance in the universe : the red half represents positive cosmic forces, and the blue half represents
opposing negative cosmic forces.
Concept development
The shared garden draws its inspiration from Tajok, the traditional and reflective
Korean symbol that can be found on the national flag of South Korea. A perfect
circle divided in half - red and blue - represents balance in the universe
In search of this balance between nature and architecture, the master design
procedure translates the Tagok into a circular architectural object, a pedestrian
walkway that includes the main pool facilities inside. Interlocking footpaths create
new opportunities and self-exploration
Curving upward toward the highway, the elevated footpath protects the ponds
from traffic noise and simultaneously accommodates necessary indoor facilities
under its roof. Flatten at the intersection with the river front, in order to
facilitate pedestrian contact
