When I make Weebee using Light Worsted/3/DK/8ply weight yarn and a 4mm hook, Weebee
stands at 9.5 inches tall. Made from the toes to the top of the head in one go! Only Weebee’s arms
need sewing on! Other yarn weights and hooks can of course be used to create smaller or
larger dolls!
Weebee is named after my youngest niece Phoebe - when she was first born my daughter and
Phoebe’s older sister couldn’t say her name properly yet and she has been nicknamed ‘Weebee’
ever since.
You can find my all of my Weebee doll patterns plus lots of clothing patterns for them from here:

Pattern Start
There are knickers worked onto the bodies of the Princess Weebee Mod Kit and the Flower Fairy
Mod Kit dolls but there are times where you might want to make your Weebee doll’s a pair of
removable pants so here’s a quick and simple way to do it!

Step 1: Chain an amount that will fit around your dolls waist that can be divided by 2, e.g. 30, join
last ch to first, trying not to twist the chain.

Step 2: Ch1 and hdc into each ch around, join last st to first with a sl st (30 in example)

Step 3: Work 3 rounds of hdc (or for as many rounds for the depth you want your pants to be),
joining each round with a sl st.

Step 4: Ch1, hdc in half of the stitches (15 in example - so half the amount you chained), skip the
same amount of stitches (so 15sts in example - again half the amount), join last st to first with a sl
st - first leg hole made.

Step 5: Fasten off.

Step 6: Attach yarn to back of work in one of the unworked sts from last round. Ch1 and hdc in
each unworked st around to make the second leg hole (so 15 in example again)

Step 7: Fasten off and sew little hole formed in the crotch area closed.

Step 8 (Optional): You can add frills around the top of your pants and the bottom of your pant
legs by working alternate, 3sc in the same st, sl st in next st, around.
