I. PROJECT’S PURPOSE
Here we propose a whiteboard eraser robot that is very efficient and only erases
traces of line on the board by following the traces. Our system uses an innovative
approach through which the robotic vehicle smartly traces lines and erases those lines
only. It can be used for part as well as full whiteboard cleaning. Sometimes we need
only a few lines cleaned, at such times it only erases those lines connected and leaves
the rest on the board. The purpose of the project is to create and build an automatic
whiteboard eraser that will systematically work through the whole surface and
• Power Magnets
• To minimize the area on the board that has not been erased
• The sensor on the side is telling the Arduino that there is a possibility to turn around and
erase below the previous erased strip without falling off the board.
• The sensor is being used to detect a change in level on the whiteboard surface.
