Passion Paper
My name is Ryan Galusky, and I am very passionate about many things. That is how

multidimensional I am. I've been interested in these topics for a long time; I didn't become

interested in them overnight. I've learned that time is a powerful tool. You are now prepared to

learn about my interests.

I enjoy sports. Basketball and baseball, in particular. My involvement with sports began

when I was six years old, when I began playing tea ball. I signed up for basketball two years

later. Then, when I was eight years old, I began playing basketball and baseball almost every

day, as part of a team, with genuine love and care. Baseball and basketball were on my mind at

least once a day until I was thirteen. I had a great time swinging bats and shooting hoops with my

friends. While playing sports, I felt no sadness, anger, or fear; only the happiest distraction time

can buy. I can honestly say that I have no regrets about participating in those sports for that five

year span. I no longer play, but I still follow the professional leagues for those sports, so I am

still invested.

Following my sporting career, I discovered a new interest. My interest in media began

when I was fourteen years old. Specifically, film and video production. I want to

entertain/improve people's lives. It's one of the reasons I get out of bed in the morning. The

media serves as an outlet for this purpose. I've been interested in creating and consuming media

since I was ten years old. Now, the goal of film/video production is to tell a story as best you

can. I love telling stories, so I guess that qualifies me as a storyteller. There are no constraints

during the storytelling process. There are no rules to follow. It's one of those jobs that allows you

to be as creative as you want. I don't want to feel limited.

I had a great support system while pursuing these interests. My family and friends have

influenced who I am today. I am passionate about them in order to repay them.

I will go to great lengths for my friends and family. They earned my trust. Every time I see my

adoring family and friends, I pretend it's the last time I'll see them. I appreciate their presence

because they will leave this world one day.

So there you have it. These are just three of my many interests in life. I hope this gave

you a glimpse into my life. My mindset, interests, and motivators I hope my explanation for my

interests was clear. The main goal of this paper is to paint a mental picture of me and my

passions for you. It would be cool if we shared similar interests. It would create relatability

between us. I'll leave you with a Dr. Seuss quote: "Sometimes you won't know the value of a

moment until it becomes a memory."
