Days are filled with sorrow and care,
Hearts are lonely and drear; Opening Psalm: Psalm 17
Burdens are lifted at Calvary,
Jesus is very near. 260
Jesus Christ is risen today, Hallelujah!
Burdens are lifted at Calvary, Our triumphant holy day, Hallelujah!
Calvary, Calvary; Who did once, upon the cross, Hallelujah!
Burdens are lifted at Calvary, Suffer to redeem our loss. Hallelujah!
Jesus is very near.
Hymns of praise then let us sing,
Cast your care on Jesus today, Unto Christ our heavenly King,
Leave your worry and care; Who endured the cross and grave,
Burdens are lifted at Calvary Sinners to redeem and save.
Jesus is very near.
But the pains which He endured;
Troubled soul, the Saviour can see, Our salvation have procured;
Every heartache and tear; Now above the sky He's King,
Burdens are lifted at Calvary, Where the angels ever sing.
Jesus is very near.
Sing we to our God above,
Praise eternal as His love;
Praise Him, all ye heavenly host,
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Second Hymn
671 Final Hymn
1 When we walk with the Lord 141
In the light of His Word, Name of Jesus! highest Name!
What a glory He sheds on our way; Name that earth and heaven adore!
While we do His good will, From the heart of God it came,
He abides with us still, Leads me to God's heart once more.
And with all who will trust and obey.
Name of Jesus! living tide!
Trust and obey, For there’s no other way Days of drought for me are past;
To be happy in Jesus, But to trust and obey. How much more than satisfied
Are the thirsty lips at last!
3 Not a burden we bear,
Not a sorrow we share, Name of Jesus! dearest Name!
But our toil He doth richly repay; Bread of heaven, and balm of love,
Not a grief or a loss, Oil of gladness, surest claim
Not a frown or a cross, To the treasures stored above.
But is blest if we trust and obey.
Jesus gives forgiveness free,
4 But we never can prove Jesus cleanses all my stains;
The delights of His love, Jesus gives His life to me,
Until all on the altar we lay; Jesus always He remains.
For the favor He shows,
And the joy He bestows, Only Jesus! fairest Name!
Are for them who will trust and obey. Life and rest and peace and bliss;
Jesus, evermore the same,
5 Then in fellowship sweet He is mine and I am His!
We will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do;
Where He sends, we will go,
Never fear, only trust and obey.
