Cognos Business Intelligence refresh If you have Excel objects with Cognos Business Intelligence content,

you can now define a Cognos Business Intelligence data source in Cognos Disclosure Management to
refresh your Cognos for Microsoft Office data, such as crosstabs, charts, lists, and images. Related

Business Intelligence data source that allows you to refresh IBM Cognos for Microsoft Office data, such
as cross-tabs, charts, lists, and images, in your Excel report objects. New features in IBM Cognos
Disclosure Management Version 10.2.3.1 IBM ® Cognos® Disclosure Management includes features that
were added since the previous release. EDGAR HTML content moved to IBM Cognos Disclosure
Management User Guide You can use the EDGAR HTML tools in Cognos Disclosure Management to
preview and adjust the HTML file that you plan to submit to the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and
Retrieval (EDGAR) system. In previous versions of Cognos Disclosure Management documentation, the
information for EDGAR HTML appeared in a separate guide titled IBM Cognos Disclosure Management
EDGAR. In Version 10.2.3.1, that information has been moved into a new EDGAR HTML chapter in the
IBM Cognos Disclosure Management User Guide, and the separate guide no longer exists. Load
balancing The IBM Cognos Disclosure Management Installation Guide contains new information on how
to balance application requests across multiple servers to improve server utilization and availability.
Using a report object variable to create a data reference in a referenced object In Cognos Disclosure
Management, a ##S variable in a referenced object can now be used to define ##D variables in a report.
New features in IBM Cognos Disclosure Management Version 10.2.3 IBM ® Cognos® Disclosure
Management includes features that were added since the previous release. Support for DB2® for i DB2
for i can now be used as an external data repository. Support for Cognos Disclosure Management Cloud
on SoftLayer Cognos Disclosure Management can now be hosted on the SoftLayer platform. 4 IBM
Cognos Disclosure Management Version 10.2.7: Administration Guide Connecting to an ODBC or OLE DB
x64 data source defined on the server You can now connect to an ODBC or OLE DB x64 data source
defined on the server. Migration You can choose to migrate your Cognos FSR database to a IBM Cognos
Disclosure Management database that is deployed on DB2. You can also migrate and consolidate
multiple Cognos FSR databases into one Cognos Disclosure Management database Searching for Active
Directory users and user groups You can now use a search field when importing Active Directory users
and user groups. This feature is helpful if you have domains with large numbers of users. Searching for
report objects You can now use a search field to search for a complete or partial name of a report
object. This feature is helpful if your report contains a large number of report objects. Searching for
OLAP dimension members You can search for dimension members when you are creating or editing an
OLAP query. This feature is helpful if you have dimensions with a large number of members. Fitting Excel
content into generated reports You can see a preview of an Excel object before you generate your
report, so that you can be sure that your Excel content fits as expected. Pasting properties to multiple
report objects You can now copy a property from one report object, and paste it into multiple report
objects at the same time. This feature is helpful in situations such as changing an effective date for a
large number of report objects all at once. More information about report objects that are checked out
You can now see which user has checked out a particular report object, and you can see which report
objects are checked out to you in the current session. Source information about reference objects You
can see additional helpful information when you hover over a reference object in the report object tree
as well as in the Object Properties window. You can also open the source of the reference object by
right-clicking the reference object. Creating a new query from an existing one You can now create a new
data query from an existing one. This feature is particularly helpful if you need to create a large number
