1 SUPER ASIA COMPANY PROJECT OF HRM

1.1.1 SUPER ASIA’s RECRUITMENT PROCESS

As we know that recruitment process is the process of building a pool of candidates

qualified for the particular job vacancy that a company publicize to the public or

market. This is one of the important step in selecting the best candidate for your

organizations like how you advertise or complete this recruitment process. There are

several ways that are being used for this recruitment process like advertisement and

private employee’s agencies etc.

SUPER ASIA COMPANY’s recruitment process is described as they do not pay

much attention or importance to the advertisement of job vacancies and one reason

for this is that their major workforce is labour work force for which they do not need

to advertise. They just need labours in more numbers than other staff members so

they do not waste their money and time in such activities. The way SUPER ASIA

COMPANY uses for recruitment is that they get candidates from government of

Punjab associated institute named as TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND

VOCATIONAL TRAINING AUTHORITY.

The other way of recruitment that company uses is that company has an online

website where the company shares if there is any job vacancy and candidates must

have to walk in the company to submit their resumes because they do not have any

online form filling process. Most of the time SUPER ASIA COMPANY does not

even need to publicize job vacancy because they usually have a lot of candidate

resumes which candidate has already submitted to the company for job.
So SUPER ASIA COMPANY’s recruitment is not as much costly as they do not need

to advertise for this purpose and it also saves their time because there are lot of people

in this market who are looking for jobs and they already submit their resumes after

having a lot of resumes company screen out the resumes of candidates which are

qualified for the particular job vacancy.

Super Asia Company has an agreement with TEVTA institute so they get workers

from that institute and save their time and besides this they use an online website for

this purpose.

1.1.2 SUCCESSION PLANNING PROCESS:

Succession planning process is the process of keeping in mind attentively that what

are key positions of the company and if suddenly key people of the organization leave

the organization then how to make it sure that company has the ability to fill that key

position within time so that the company does not face any difficulty. This process is

based on how you analyse the people or employees in your organization so that you

can give them that key responsibilities if key people leave and after knowing that

employees who can be that key person of the organization you polish his abilities and

may be the candidate could not even know about this that he is being prepared for

such a responsibility.

SUPER ASIA COMPANY’s human resources department also does this process and

even they do it now more consciously than before because first they did not pay

attention to it carefully and after an incident took place where the company face

difficulties due to not making succession planning.


During the interview with HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER AT SUPER ASIA

COMPANY got to know an incident where they showed succession planning after

facing a lot of difficulties the incident is like company’s human resources manager

got sick and he has to leave the company for some time and company faced a lot of

difficulties because they were not prepared for this and they had to hire a new human

resources manager and in lack of time they hired a person who was not experienced

and also he could not be able to resolve that problems after some time their human

resources manager came back and he settled all the matters and then he retired and

company faced same difficulties and hired another manager who was not able to

handle this all then they terminate him and after so long time they were able to realize

that Mr AWAIS SHAH who was first assistant manager of HR manager was the one

who has that qualities which were required for the human resources manager job and

then they made him human resources manager and he proved that decision was

completely right decision.

1.1.3 APPLICATION FORM PROCESS:

Application form process involves the process where candidates visit the organization

and fill application form after submitting their resumes and they fill these forms

because company needs to make it authenticate that there is no false information.

SUPER ASIA COMPANY does not follow any process like this and candidates do

not required to fill any application form. Company does this to authenticate

information about the candidate which candidate has already filled on his resume.

The company just consider candidate’s resumes as application forms and then analyse

these resumes and then shortlist the qualified candidates. They do not use any online

application form process neither any physical appearing process.


1.1.4 SELECTION TOOLS OR TESTING:

There are several selection tools which organizations use to get the most talented

candidates after they have submitted their resumes to the organizations one of the best

tool is testing the candidates this is best way as at the back time many candidates can

be checked. Organizations receive a lot of resumes which is obviously not possible

for an organization to conduct interviews of all the candidates so they use these tests

to find best ones and then these candidates are further interviewed for final selection.

SUPER ASIA COMPANY prefers already trained candidates and if there are

candidates who are not trained then they are trained in the company’s training

institution under observation of experts. Company first train candidates in their

training institute and after completing their training they are supposed to perform

work sample tests. These tests are required for actual workforce and the other staff

who are not involved in production or labour work they not required to fulfil these

requirements they are just hired on experience basis and their qualification basis.

Those experts who analyse candidates’ performance during their training in training

centre of the super Asiaany recommend the best candidates to the company then

company further conducts work sample tests and on the basis of these tests company

hires employees.
