EARPLUG FITTING
INSTRUCTIONS

Correct fitting and removal of disposable earplugs.

Fitting Instructions:
FIT HEARING PROTECTION BEFORE ENTERING A NOISY ENVIRONMENT AND WEAR FOR THE WHOLE
DURATION OF EXPOSURE.

1. Roll the entire ear plug with clean hands into a narrow, crease free cylinder.
2. Reach over your head with your free hand a pull your ear up and back to open the ear canal.
3. Insert the plug well into the ear canal and hold in place until the plug expands (30-40 seconds)
4.  Check the ear plugs are correctly fitted by covering your ears with both cupped hands. In a noisy environment,
you should note no significant difference in noise levels with ears covered or uncovered. If the noise level is
reduced when your ears are covered, leave the noisy area immediately and re-fit the ear plugs

Removal Instructions:
1. Remove the ear plugs only after leaving the noisy environment.
2. Twist the earplug to break the seal and pull slowly from the ear.
3. Dispose of the used ear plug responsibly. This is a single use product - do not reuse.

Keep earplugs away from infants and small children. Although the ear plugs can be recommended for protection against the harmful effects of
impulse noise, the SINGLE NUMBER RATING (SNR) is based on the attenuation of continuous noise and may not be an accurate indicator of the
protection attainable against impulsive noise such as gunfire. Consult the outer packaging, including user instruction and fitting instructions
before use. Designed for single use only. Do not reuse. Failure to follow the provided instructions may affect the products ability to protect against
harmful levels of noise and the protection afforded by the earplugs will be severely impaired.
