Science 2 lesson reflection

The lesson was for 1b science lesson, the outcome is Students


will be able to: 1- Pitch and volume 2- Sound, the behavior of
the students was good because I used positive re-enforcement
during my lesson, and if one talking during the lesson I change
the place for the students do not distracted the other students, the
begging of the lesson we review with the students the classroom
rules also the calendar, the students are familiar with the
classroom rules and the calendar, I taught them about the sounds
and vibration, they able to learn what is sound mean and also the
wall words “ volume and waves, vibrations”, they know what
the difference between soft and loud sounds also I asked them to
do a soft and loud sounds, for the waves experiment I show
them a video about how the sounds move the things and they
was excited they want to try it so in next time I will make the
experiment with them so all of them they will try.
For the center’s I have 6 groups each two group they have the
same activity. Group 1 and 2 they did a sorting for the loud and
soft sound, the students able the sort the sound but they finish
early also If I gave they extra activity in next time I will improve
this activity I will let them use their critical thinking more and
their art also, I will let them to remember and draw the things
with loud and soft sounds.
Group 3 and 4 students match animals with their babies, and
they have a puzzle its tricky but they try to do it, in next time I
will improve this activity more to make it more learnable, I will
let the students to try and write the animals name and their
babies, in this way they will improve their writing skills.
group 5 and 6 students match the halve of the Animals, and then
they will draw any animal they like, the students any draw the
animal they like but in next time I will let them to write the
animal name for the high students and medium students and for
law students they will write only the first letter of the animal
for the Extra activity if the students finish I gave them extra
activity they color the Animals and count them.
For the formative assessment, I let the students to tell us what
they did in their activity, they tell their classmates what they did
but without their papers in next time I will keep their papers
with them so they show their fiend what they did, also the
students review the low and soft sound.
