2 - Human Rights

1. Discuss the status of human rights in the country.

The status of human rights in our country based on my observation is that, there are some cities

or municipalities that are unequal because of that money works in mysterious ways. It is

saddening how other legislative bodies of different areas here in the Philippines treat people in

accordance with money and not to get the rightful justice for humans, specifically for Filipino

people. The government should establish certain punishment equally and not to create gaps

between rich and the poor. Fairness among people is much more important than the value of

money because it is ethical to subject a person without proper process and evidences along the

way and it is much essential to look for the bigger picture, the realistic image of a certain

situation by means of not deciding to compensate a specific crime, either big ones or small ones

but to have justice with it.
