PARTS OF THE BODY

Our body is made up of many parts.

Main Parts of the Body

What are the main parts of our body? The human body has three parts. All of
them is covered with skin.
These are the following:
1. Head
2. Trunk
3. Limbs

1. Head

 The head is upper part of the body. The eyes, ears, nose, and mouth are
found in the head. The neck connects the head to the trunk. The head also
holds four of your sense organs these are eyes, ears, nose, and tongue.

2. Trunk

 The middle and largest part of our body is the trunk or torso. It is made up of
our neck, shoulders, chest, waist, and hips.

 Important organs in our body are found in our chest. Examples of these organs
are our heart and our lungs.

3. Limbs

 The limbs are divided into upper limbs and lower limbs. The upper limbs are
our arms and hands. The legs, knees, feet, and toes are the lower limbs.

OUR BODY PARTS WORK TOGETHER

 Our head, trunk and limbs work together to do many things.

We can sing and dance at the same time.
We can also wave while walking.

 The different parts of our body work together as we do our daily activities.
Our body parts working together can achieve many things.

2
 As the boy rides this bike for his morning exercise, he uses his legs to pedal,
his arms to hold the handlebars and direct it to where it should go. To see
where he will go, he uses his eyes. He will also be guided by his ears. If he
hears a busy street to his right or left, he will avoid that street to keep
safe.

 For the two girls playing volleyball, they are using the upper and lower limbs.
They clasp their hands and swing their arms as they try to hold the ball. To
after the ball, they use their legs and feet. They run or make quick short
jumps near the net as they try to block the ball using their arms and hands.
Sometimes, they dive to the ground to reach the ball and hit back over the
net towards their opponent.

 How about the player eyes?

 Their eyes focus on the fast-moving ball. For them to play the game well.
The different parts of their body need to stay sharp. Their body needs to
be able to follow instructions from the brain, which processes information
sent by their eyes.
