COLLEGE OF EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY

College of Education is grounded on the three (3) Core Tenets and


Corresponding Goals that guide it as a teacher- institution.

 It adheres to its goals in producing highly competent


knowledgeable and empowered 21st century educators that
have a deep sense of professionalism and character of social
responsibility.
 The competence, knowledge, and character represent the
institutional philosophy manifested by our graduates as
catalysts of nation development.
 The framework is imbued with the shared and common
aspiration of the institution and stakeholders guided by its core
values, national competency standards, educational-research
agenda and professional and global community.
GOALS

1. Produce better trained, productive, competitive and fully empowered


education graduates.
2. Select and avail of in-service training program base on teacher’s need.
3. Plan and develop an innovative and enriched curriculum through research
that is relevant and responsive to the needs of time.
4. Accelerate research in priority disciplines.
5. Provide scholarship opportunities to the poor but deserving students.
6. Foster excellence culture in research in different areas of discipline.

OBJECTIVES
As the College of Education commits itself quality education, it aims to
produce;
1. Teachers equipped with professional and technical competencies that
will enable them to be 21st century educators.
2. Teachers who see their profession as noble way of effective necessary
change in community promote intercultural relationship and social
responsibility.
3. Teacher who possess dignity and reputation with high moral values
worthy of emulation.
4. Educators who are properly trained in their chosen field of specialization
and yet do not stop from learning more.
5. Teachers who possess the characteristics of 21st century educators ready
to face global community.
