Faezira Knight was born on December 1, 2040, 7 years after the Nanosecond Buyout that saw

her uncle, Damien Knight, becoming the biggest shareholder of Ares Macrotechnology. She was
allegedly* born to an unknown sister of Damien who died under mysterious circumstances, leading to
him taking her in and raising her as part of Ares and its corporate culture. Growing up, she was spared
no expense in terms of formal and martial education, as her uncle was grooming her to become an
integral part of his operations and, eventually, the head of Ares’ private security division. During this
time, she became well acquainted with Damien’s very good friends, the Great Dragon
Dunkelzahn(“Uncle D”, as she knew him) and the Last Knight of the Crying Spire, Harlequin(“Harley”).
When Faezira was 15, the Chicago Bug Wars broke out and she was regularly regaled with the tales of
horror brought up by the Infestation and Ares’ attempts to destroy it.

When she was 17 years-old, Faezira was in charge of a Firewatch operations team that cut its
teeth destroying Bug hives and pushing back the Bugs in Chicago, her team later being one of the ones
that released the FAB-III viral strain that helped to turn the tide against them. It was after this successful
operation that Faezira’s uncle gifted her “The Big D”, a customized Colt Future Frontier engraved with
the likeness of the fallen Dunkelzahn, whom she was particularly fond of. After the Bug Wars, her team
operated as Damien’s personal hit squad, answering only to him while only nominally being in Knight
Errant’s chain-of-command. It was during this time that Faezira earned one of her nicknames: The
Winter Lady, for her ice-cold demeanor on an op and her wintertime birthday. Everything was going
according to Damien’s plans for her until a fateful November day in 2064.

In November of 2064, in the chaos of Matrix Crash 2.0, a radical group known as the New
Revolution succeeded in kidnapping UCAS President Kyle Haeffner, whom her Uncle Damien had,
nominally, been supportive of. Together with UCAS forces under General Angela Colloton, Faezira’s
team was sent in to rescue the President, but the truth was that Damien had long since grown
displeased with Haeffner for unstated reasons and her team was to assassinate him in the confusion.
The operation was almost a spectacular failure, with only Faezira and her lieutenant, Jack Hauler,
surviving the ambush that the New Revolution set for any potential rescue party. Faezira was the only
one of the team to make it to the President’s location. When the New Revolution leader attempted to
use President Haeffner as a human shield to save his skin, Faezira swiftly shot the leader and the
President through the heart with a single bullet, accomplishing her mission. At the same time, however,
the President, having realized the double-cross, was able to grab the leader’s gun and put a bullet
straight into Faezira’s right eye, nearly killing her. Jack, having finally caught up, successfully got Izzy to a
local Street Doc he knew of, known only as “Doc”, who was able to save her life and replaced her
destroyed eye with a spare cybereye he had lying around. When the two made it back to HQ in Detroit,
the situation was going pear-shaped; while things appeared to be according to plan, the UCAS military’s
outrage over Firewatch’s failure to save the President was more persistent than first thought. As a
compromise, Damien agreed to have Faezira arrested and imprisoned to appease the military’s outrage
at her failure, meanwhile the military wouldn’t go after her for gross negligence for botching an
operation that they felt should have been handled by the SEALs**.

Faezira wound up spending three years in a UCAS prison under trumped-up murder charges***,
during which time she got prison ink from Aztlaner and UCAS inmates to show that she wasn’t someone
to frag with****. When she got out, Faezira had next to nothing to her name, taking what she thought
was a security job in the CAS***** that turned out to be a load of drek by organ leggers operating out of
the DFW sprawl. She successfully escaped and killed the leggers thanks to the sacrifice of their only
other prisoner, Isabela Sinclair, “Izzy” to her friends. After escaping, she was discovered by a local Mafia
Capo, one Miguel Chavez, who took her under protection provided she made him some money in
exchange******. To conceal who she was, Faezira took the name “Izzy Sinclair” in tribute to the woman
who saved her life despite not even knowing her. For a time, she worked as a “high-class escort” for the
Mafia until an Irish Mob hit-squad’s attempt against her boss’ life led to the entire hit-squad dead and
her holding some of their guns in her hands covered in their blood while wearing a really expensive
Moonsilver dress.

Realizing the sort of asset he had on his hands, Chavez employed Izzy as a “associate” of the
Mafia to expand his clout and rank in the organization until he successfully rose to become the Don of
the DFW Sprawl after Aztlan gangbangers murdered the previous Don, his own brother, in broad
daylight as a message. In 2069, Izzy, having now been able to reestablish herself in terms of equipment
and resources, asked if she could leave to pursue her own endeavors, having recently fallen in with the
local shadowrunner community while working. And so Miguel, now known as “Caesar”, gave her a task
thought to be impossible. Over the course of the rest of the year and part of 2070, the Irish Mob’s
significant presence in the DFW sprawl all-but disintegrated, and most of Aztlan’s operative cells
smuggled into DFW went dark. By the end of this task, the Mafia was now the biggest organized crime
operation in the DFW Sprawl with the Silver Blade Yakuza being the only other significant operation in
town; so powerful was the Mob that Caesar, having previously carried the title of Don of the DFW
Sprawl, was now known as the Don of North Texas. Her efficiency and number of kills earned her the
title of “The Deadliest Woman in the CAS” by the organized crime groups in the area.

Having left the employ of the Mob, Izzy settled into a comfortable, utilitarian life in her flat
above the Legless Wyrm, where she frequently interacted with and ran with the local shadowrunners.
She still takes assassination jobs for the Mafia on the side, but she has the right to choose whether or
not she will take said job. She earned her membership on Jackpoint by providing them the intel on how
badly Aztlan(and Aztechnology, by extension) and the Irish Mob were setback by her one-year operation
against them. Because of this, she’s frequently called on by out-of-town runners that are unfamiliar with
the local crime makeup of the city. It was during her freelancing period that she finally fell in with a local
group of runners that were robbing a local bank at the same time she was there to assassinate the
bank’s manager. Of that group, Fia is the only one that is left, and Izzy’s taken a liking to the
pyromaniacal genius.
* “Allegedly” because Izzy, unbeknownst to her, is actually a biological clone of Damien Knight, one of
his first experiments into test-tubing an effective agent loyal to him. He would have claimed her as his
own daughter had some unexplained occurrence not turned her into an Elf. Originally, this idea was
going to be due to the secret that Damien is a human-posing Immortal Elf, but you nixed that idea, so for
now it’s an unexplained occurrence of UGE in a test-tube baby made only from Damien’s DNA(the
doctors used two of his X chromosomes to make her and made sure to edit any unknown birth defects
they detected out). Unless this revelation makes you decide to change it back to my original idea. Note
that this doesn’t translate into anything special in terms of game stats except that she was a highly
effective operative and killer without the need for heavy cyberization.

** The involvement of Izzy’s Firewatch team was made by Damien Knight, himself, in an appeal to Vice
President Daviar when she ordered the military to go after New Revolution. The fact that so many of the
Firewatch team died only for the President to be “killed in the crossfire” anyway was the source of much
outrage for the military brass.

*** These charges were the cover for why the niece of a prominent megacorp exec was in prison.
According to Izzy, she thinks she was just plain thrown under the bus and holds a grudge against Damien
for him tossing family aside as expendable. In truth, Damien pulled every last string her could to make
sure her charges and sentence were as minimal as possible, with such a short sentence for murder
chalked up as “Corp Kid sitting in timeout” by the courts, so there was no suspicion cast on her in the
prison. This is why she doesn’t speak with her uncle, currently.

**** Izzy has three tats: The first are Aztlan-style red wings on her upper back that radiate over her
shoulders and partially onto her breasts, like she’s cloaked in Quetzalcoatlus’ protection. The second is a
tattoo of the Knight Errant logo on her left shoulder, and the third are a set of red, yellow, and black
flames that start at her mid-forearm and go halfway up her bicep and tricep, both of which signify her as
a bonafide badass in the prisoner circuit.

***** Even though she was a Corp Kid, her criminal record made finding jobs should would have been
adept at(namely being Corporate Security or Law Enforcement) near-impossible, especially because she
was still a hot-potato for Ares and Knight Errant at the time.

****** With all the implications that entails for the Mob.
