My Hero

Everyone has a hero. I think hero's are people who are not famous but kind and generous.

My hero is my grandma. My grandma is fun to play with, a great story teller, and she is very

brave.

My hero is my grandma. She is fun to play games with. First of all, she likes to play with

all her grandchildren. She likes to play war with me the most though. My grandma also likes to

play Cherrio the game. She likes to play it because we can include my sisters and cousins. Lastly,

we like to play Uno. It's a bit hard for my grandma to play Uno on her own. So we play it in

teames. We think it is most fun that way. Even though my hero is 98 years old, she can still play

games with her grandchildren.

Secondly, my grandma is a great story teller. She tells us stories about my mom and my

aunt. She also told stories about my grandpa, Uncle Henny. Uncle Henny fought in WWII.

Lastly, she would always talk about her childhood and how they would play Hopscotch most

times. I like my hero becsause she is a very entertaining storyteller.

Lastly, my grandma was brave in the summer of 2015 when she was battling UTI. My

grandma was diegnosed with UTI in the summer of 2015. My grandma was very scared because

she did not know exactly what was happening and because she was never in the hospital sick.

She was 96 years old when this had occurred. After she recovered, she was transferred to a rehap

center in Hoboken Hospital in NJ. She was sent there to rebuild her muscles because she was in

bed and not able to walk for weeks. Now, my hero got a bit crazy . She had gotten Demensha

during the sickness. She is not herself anymore. She is still living and in good health and just

celebrated her 98th Birthday on Saterday, September 17. I can not get back my grandma I used to

have. But I am proud of her for being brave and strong in the hospital.

Finally, my hero is my grand because she is a fun person to play games with, a great story

teller and a very brave person. I am thankful for her still to be alive and well and even when she

is gone, she will still be my hero.I hope she lives to be 100 years old or older.
