LEVEL COORDINATORS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Level Coordinator is an academic and professional overseer, with

teaching assignments, on the implementation of the BSN Curriculum in Levels One, Two, Three and Four. RELATIONSHIP: Reports directly to the Dean and confers/coordinates with the Administrative Officer/Prefect of Student Affairs and Clinical Coordinator Supervises faculty members on their level. Monitors the academic and clinical performance of students on their respective levels.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. ACADEMIC Prepares course syllabi, instructional design and laboratory procedure before the start of semester and submit them to the Dean for approval. Prepares the schedule of classes for the approval of the Dean. And coordinates with the Administrative Officer for room assignment. Recommends to the Dean faculty members who will handle major nursing subjects. Recommends to the Dean adjustments in schedule if deemed necessary. Coordinates with the Dean and Administrative Officer on the schedule of major examination, revalida and course audit. Assigns proctor in major examinations in coordination with the Administrative Officer. Evaluates examination questionnaires prior to printing. Recommends, after conferring with the faculty members concerned, students to be placed under academic/disciplinary probation. Consolidates the grades, tardiness and absences of students. Coordinates with the Administrative Officer the dates for the encoding of grades and submission of class records. Assists the Dean in the evaluation of teaching performance of faculty members.

2. CLINICAL Assists the Clinical Coordinator in the preparation and dissemination of RLE duty and make-up duty. Assists the Clinical Coordinator in the consolidation of grades in clinical areas. Consolidates the absences of students in clinical areas and submit the same to the Clinical Coordinator for make up duty.

3. ADMINISTRATIVE Coordinates with the Administrative Officer the office and teaching supplies needed by the faculty members in their level. Assists the Dean and Administrative Officer in the dissemination of schedule of activities and new policies. Assists the Administrative Officer in the dissemination and implementation of office policies such as but not limited to: 1. Schedule of reproduction of instructional and examination materials; 2. Use of the photocopying machine; 3. Request for supplies/equipment.
