Human Resources
Human resources include the skills, talents and abilities which individuals possess. The skills of these
people are used to produce a wide variety of goods and services which help to maintain and improve the
standard of living.

1. What job would you like to do after completing school?

2. What would you do to achieve this goal?

3. How would this job be useful to you and society?

The two major reasons for developing the human resources of a country are:

1. The need for a large number of productive and skilled workers.

2. The need for people to solve problems.

People use their skills to solve problems

plants. This caused an increase in food production.
● Diseases threatened to wipe out the entire human race. Doctors and scientist used their skills to
produce vaccinations for these diseases.

agriculture. Engineers came up with the wise idea of high-rise buildings to solve this problem.
