1.

In my own point of view, human resource managers must be effective leaders that can
train employees and develop them into leaders themselves. However, one can be called
effective and efficient HRD manager if they have an extraordinary potential in
communication. Communication skill is very significant in an organization because HR
professionals are often dealing with, and delivering, sensitive information, in which this
skill is essential so that they would be able to express themselves well both verbally and
in writing.
Moreover, HRD managers does not only limit to one skill but rather to a more diverse
one because in today's situation the world becomes increasingly diverse and possesses a variety
of global workforce, which then lead us to think that human resource professionals must be
culturally competent, demonstrating a well-developed and multicultural worldview to
promote respectful, reciprocal interactions by setting an example for the rest of the
organization. These skills will lead then in cultivating an organization-wide leadership and
coaching approach that will develop employees, build creative teams, to become effective
and efficient problem-solvers at all levels of the organization.

2. There are many situations sometimes that we are not motivated to complete a task one of
those is when certain efforts were not recognized. Because I believe that there no such
difficult things to be done if your effort as a maker is being honored. As Margaret
Cousins said and I quote “Appreciation can change a day, even change a life” this means
that recognizing ones effort is one of the most effective way of motivating employees.
Good Managers must possess certain skills that poses certain impact to motivate his her
subordinates in accomplishing tasks. Employees on the other hand, deserved to hear such
motivational words because this is the only energy that give them the force to do work.

3. Being in transition from new normal landscape of education is somewhat difficult not
only to the students and parents but also to the teachers and to the entire school system.
Lack of classrooms and inadequate number teaching personnel are some of the major
problems that leads to come with the scheme of having shifting class from 6:00 am to 12
noon and from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm. Having this situation is very difficult. It poses
many problems especially in delivering quality education. Actual principles and methods
of teaching were hampered due to lack of time. However, despite of the problem brought
by this scheme, the Department of Education does not stop finding means to address this
problems. As part of its initiative, At Home Learning Spaces Program was
implemented. This is one of the innovation of Schools Division of Capiz viewed as the
solution to forgoing problems. This AHLS program aims to bring together education
partners to help learners and families create a conducive learning space at home and
promote active interaction and participation of parents in their role as partner learning
facilitators of teacher in the new normal landscape.
4. During 2nd world war the focus was on recruitment and selection and later on training;
improving morale and motivation; discipline; health and safety; joint consultation and
wage policies. This meant that a personnel department had to be established with trained
staff. In addition, Developments in human resource management intend to develop the
organization and enabling it to survive and succeed in the competitive world, as it is in
particular the generous sector and it is based on the fact that working in and for
organizations has changed drastically over the past years, so that concepts such as skill,
career, and occupation have changed primarily. Therefore, all these changes provide
necessity against which HRM has emerged as the main modern strategy to influence on
managing the employment relationships.

5. I always adhere to the idea that “Expectation is related to productivity.” The manager
plays a key role in setting the subordinate's expectations and helping achieve their goals.
If  the manager's expectations are high, performance and productivity automatically go
up. However, it does not limit here. Managers have numerous ways to impact employee
performance such through behavior modeling, constructive feedback, and performance
reviews. Nevertheless, these techniques won't succeed unless the manager tries to
understand his employees' motivation because nothing compares the power of
motivation. Motivation reflects something unique about each one of us and allows us to
gain valued outcomes like improved performance, enhanced wellbeing and personal
growth

Managing the school system

1. If you were a manager of a school or organization, how do you manage the financial
aspect of a school/ organization?
Financial aspect of an organization is probably the most crucial thing to handle.
Nowadays, the MOOE of the school is one of the most controversial issues in some if not
all school in the department of education. This MOOE is actually a budget intended for
school maintenance, operations and expenses. This includes rehabilitation of school
environment, repair of classrooms, enhancement of school lighting and ventilation
facilities and even the needs of teacher s in delivering quality education. However, it has
been taken advantaged by some of the school leaders. MOOE's were used for some
transactions which are not transparent in school stakeholders. Good leader on the other
hand, must be transparent. Transactions in school such as procurements must be Posted in
the transparency board so that everyone will be informed about financial report of the
school. As a manager or a principal I would be honest and transparent at all in all of my
transactions. Priority areas must be the primary consideration of a school leader for me to
budget properly the available resources.

2. How do mangers involved in the operations and management of a school? What do

school operation managers do?
Managers has vital role in managing certain organization. In an educational setting the role of a
Principal is very significant yet a critical one. They are responsible for managing processes of the
entire school system, purchasing, accounting of materials needed for school maintenance and
development, human resources, curriculum and all in the entire system not only inside the school
premises but also to the entire school community. With that responsibilities, school leaders must
be equipped with different skills most particularly the most significant one, the communication
skills. School leaders in this manner must be transparent and able to deal with various
stakeholders such as Parents and Local Government in order for them to run school system
effectively and efficiently. If leaders are able to deal with its stakeholders, there will be a
tendency that school problems will be easy to solve because of the all out support of the
stakeholders. For instance, if leaders are good enough with the Mayor what ever needs of the
school the Local Government is always in support.

3. Why human resource is important in an organization? As a human resource manager how

will you derived results?
4.
Human resources management is a very important function in every organization. In a
school setting human resource management is very important most especially inside the
classroom because it serves as the springboard for us to have smooth effective and
efficient implementations of our programs in the attainment of our goals. In human
resource management, HR managers must be creative and innovative in dealing
employees or subordinates because their effectiveness can be derived if they can train
employees and develop them into leaders themselves. In addition its effectiveness can be
seen in in the improvement of the organization particularly in maintaining healthy and
culture friendly work environment

5. What is the importance of training and development ? as a manager in school or

organization how would you develop and capacitate your employees/ personnel?

As world becomes increasingly diverse, managers and even employees must not only
limit to one skill but rather to a more diverse one because in today's situation the world
becomes demadable in terms of the skills. To become globally completive training and
development in employees most specifically to teachers are indeed necessary. With this,
school leaders must prioritize the training and development needs of a teacher. They must
support and ensure that instructional practice is directed towards achieving the goals,
observe and evaluate teachers, suggest modifications to improve teaching practices, shape
their professional development, help solve problems that may arise within the classroom
or the entire school system. Moreover, school leaders must capacitate his or her teachers
by giving them equal opportunity to attend trainings and seminars that might help them
enhance and develop their skill in giving inclusive quality education for all learners.
Through these, even global demand in education will tremendously increase, we could
assure that our employees are culturally competent, demonstrating a well-developed and
multicultural worldview to promote respectful, reciprocal interactions by setting an
example for the rest of the organization. These skills will lead then in cultivating an
organization-wide leadership that will develop employees, build creative teams, to
become effective and efficient problem-solvers at all levels of the organization.

6. How important is the physical facilities to the success and performance of the schools ?
The quality of education depends on how school environment is fully equipped. It has a
strong influence on students' learning. The school facilities is much more than a passive
container of the learning process, rather, an integral component of the condition of the
learning. The presence of school physical facilities motivates students' to learn, this
includes good classes with enough desks and chairs for the students- a well lighted and
well-ventilated room, laboratory for both science and home economics subjects, library,
teacher’s offices, complete sports equipment, text books and availability of good toilets
and which considers gender. All of these will enable students having conducive and
favorable environment for their learning and these stimulates and motivates students to
learn and hence increases the academic performance of the students. As the students
excel, the school's performance increases.
