SUCCESFUL ENTREPRENEURS

There are plenty of successful entrepreneurs in our country, and most of the wealthiest
people in the Philippines are entrepreneurs who share similar ideas, thinking, and strategies for
success.

When asked who the wealthiest people I know are, Henry Sy, Sr. is the first person who
comes to mind. Henry Sy Sr. is also the person who piqued my attention about successful
entrepreneurs because Henry Sy is one of the successful entrepreneurs who came from a low-
income family when he was young, but what drives him to strive is the need to escape from his
poor situation, which lead him to success. Many other entrepreneurs are also from low-income
families that just strived hard and used their situation as fuel to work harder and get out of their
situations, leading to success. One of them is the owner of the most famous retail company
named National Bookstore, which Socorro Ramos owns.

To conclude, we all have seasons in life where we shine and where we fail, but what we
must do is keep moving forward in order to achieve our career aspirations. May we find a reason
to pursue our aspirations and continue until we, like all these successful entrepreneurs, finally
achieve the life we have longed for.
